Accelerators are organisations focused on leveraging technology-based companies, especially scalable businesses. However, there is little reference to their structure and hierarchy. The reason for this scarcity is that they are recent organisations, the first appearing in the United States in 2005, and in Brazil only in 2008. The aim of this study was therefore to develop a proposal for an organisational structure for an accelerator for technology-based companies. The methodology adopted was bibliographic reference research on key subjects such as: innovation habitats; organisational structure models. In order to provide the knowledge needed to draw up the organisational structure proposal. The result was a proposal for an organisational structure for an accelerator of technology-based companies, based on the team organisational structure model. The proposed model will serve as a guideline for structuring new accelerators, or even adapting existing ones.

Anterior cruciate ligament injury is the most common ligament injury in the knee. In a large number of patients, especially in partial ACL injuries or in acute cases, there is no clear correlation between the usual clinical tests and magnetic resonance imaging. The lever test was found to be effective in the diagnosis of ACL ruptures and is therefore considered a sensitive and simple test to perform in the diagnosis of ACL ruptures. Worldwide, the use of the free quadriceps tendon graft without a bone plug is not common. In the 1990s work by Fulkerson, Jokl and Shelton was published. These authors were the first to disseminate the technique of quadricipital grafting without a bone plug, with good results. This work corroborates the benefit of using this autograft. In recent years, the reconstruction of the LPFM has gained importance. The most commonly used technique is hamstring autograft. In some series, reports of complications are higher than 26%. This work aims to demonstrate the usefulness of the quadriceps graft, with a lower percentage of complications.

The verb "to be", as an element of relation between two expressions, intervenes in the formation of three types of structures: ascriptive, identifying and emphasising. These three structures have different purposes: ascriptive structures assign a property to the subject (Peter is clever), identifying structures identify an entity (Peter is the doctor) and emphasising structures highlight a segment of a base structure (John was the one we saw yesterday). The latter are extremely complex and have only recently been studied. As a consequence, almost no text touches on all their defining aspects, which is why, if one wishes to have a global view of these constructions, it is necessary to combine and play with a large number of materials. In order to try to resolve this situation, in this book we bring together the features that define and characterise them, as well as the points where they can converge with the aforementioned ascriptive and emphasising features.

The development of societies as time goes by has had a strong impact on cultural postures that have repercussions on international economic processes headed by consumption patterns and are responsible for stigmatising intercultural contexts, which is why this research is carried out with the intention of contrasting behaviour between nations. The theoretical compendium is directly linked to the historical-cultural perspective, the economic aspect, the influence of neuromarketing and the psychological management of the nations of Venezuela and Bolivia. The qualitative methodological approach to figure the subjectivity of the social sciences, from the epistemology, the phenomenological-hermeneutic paradigm is generated, distorting objectivism and evidencing the criteria of economic professionals, psychologists, marketers, and a consumer of each country to establish an effective triangulation. Likewise, the leading role of international trade in the psycho-economic relations of nations is emphasised, as are the biases of choice influenced by culture.

The study contains information on the essence, role and functions of the corporate securities market, its structure and participants, the state of the corporate securities market in the Republic of Belarus; an analysis of the current state and problems of development of the corporate securities market of the Republic of Belarus; an overview of the problems and prospects of banks' operations with securities; and an analysis of the composition, structure and dynamics of operations with securities on the example of one of the leading banks of the Republic of Belarus.

In African societies, polygamy is seen positively, as an acceptable and valid form of marriage, while monogamy has been associated with people of lower social status, which makes polygamy a product of power relations, with cultural, social, economic and political roots. Polygamy also has transcendental motives: the man who had the most children would guarantee himself and his family immortality. This study seeks to understand the implications of polygamy on the school performance of adolescent children. In going into the intricacies of polygamy, it does so by presenting reality, without entering into value judgments.

The economic and capitalist reality under neo-liberal models in which world culture is immersed affects specific areas such as education and the constitution of the individual personality. The Public Accounting Programme at the Universidad de Antioquia, Seccional Oriente, is no stranger to this reality and its curricular units present classroom projects whose specific competences have a neo-liberal focus. Through the systematised and methodical process of this research, it can be seen how the Public Accounting Programme, in its training process, develops different currents or guidelines, including the neoliberal model, as well as the humanistic part to a lesser extent and sociological aspects which offer the individual the option of free will, but does not form neoliberal subjects, since the individual, on the basis of his personal life experience and his self-affirmative development, constitutes his own personality. Finally, the importance of cultivating heterodox and critical thinking in the accounting practice in order to face the capitalist reality transcending the accounting labour practice can be appreciated.

The aim of the research was to explain the association between early self-schemas and sexual risk behaviours in homosexual men over 25 years of age in the Barcelona-Lechería-Puerto La Cruz conurbation, Anzoátegui State, 2017. The study has been based on the doctrinal approaches of the Bianco School and on the approaches of Applied Behavioural Analysis and Cognitive-Behavioural Orientation. It is a non-experimental design, field research type and correlational level. In order to explore the variables: self-schemas and sexual risk behaviours, we worked with the survey technique, based on a questionnaire, divided into two sections: The self-schema inventory (IA) and the inventory of sexual risk behaviours (ICR), both validated separately by the judgement of three (3) experts in Behavioural Guidance and their reliability was determined using the halving technique, based on the Spearman-Brown reliability coefficient, obtaining significant indices: 0.98 for the IA and 0.71 for the ICR.

Populus deltoides "Stoneville 66" and Populus x canadensis "Conti 12", clones commonly used in the Province of Buenos Aires, were tested over a growing season (14 years). The clones were tested in five planting frames (treatments), in plots of 6 rows by 6 rows and double border, in three blocks.The planting frames tested were: 2.5 m x 2.5 m; 2 m x 3.5 m; 2.5 m x 3.5 m; 2.8 m x 3.5 m and 3.5 m x 3.5 m with plots ranging from 225 m² to 441 m², depending on the frame.Breast height perimeters and total heights were measured from year to year. Diameters at breast height, basal areas and basal area densities were calculated. Growth curves were adjusted according to clone and planting frame. Average annual growth rates were calculated according to clone, plantation frame and age.The material generated allows estimating growth stages, combining genetic materials, planting frames, and ages.

The continuous increase of traffic in converged networks has generated the need to improve bandwidth distribution. MPLS networks have proven to be effective, but still require optimization. This work is the result of my Master Thesis in Data Networks carried out at the National University of La Plata (Argentina). A taxonomy of heuristic and metaheuristic strategies is presented to distribute traffic efficiently, minimizing costs and complying with capacity and demand constraints. Five bio-inspired algorithms have been developed based on swarming behaviors, such as bird flocks, ant colonies and chiroptera. These algorithms have been applied to test networks of different sizes to evaluate their effectiveness and determine the optimal parameters. The results obtained are promising and offer new perspectives to address traffic engineering challenges in MPLS networks. In summary the work focuses on optimizing traffic distribution in MPLS networks using bio-inspired approaches in highly interconnected environments.

This book aims to give an account of Corporate Governance practices in public institutions and specifically in the West Central Metropolitan Area, according to the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD, which highlights six perspectives that deal with a transparent, equitable, efficient and fair government from the dynamics of the public sector. In this way, the historical development of CG, the different theories that give rise to the model and the confrontation by means of interviews with officials of the institution regarding the concept of CG, evaluating its compliance according to the standards dictated by the international organization, but at the same time, carrying out a validation process with officials of the municipalities associated to AMCO, facilitating the generation of contributions and recommendations that will help this institution and other companies of the official sector, to manage their Corporate Governance with greater transparency, efficiency and equity.

The incorporation and development of small and medium-sized companies has been a constant concern in recent years in business development. The different national governments have opted for legal solutions that facilitate the creation of companies and their operation during the first years. In this book we present the Spanish and Mexican cases. In the former, a new type of company was adopted in 2003: the Sociedad Limitada Nueva Empresa. New companies were set up mainly through the use of telematic means. Various facilities were granted to new entrepreneurs. Mexico adopted a new type of company in 2016: the Simplified Joint Stock Company (Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada). It is a type of company that brings small and medium-sized entrepreneurs closer to the advantages of the corporation, but with an almost entirely electronic incorporation and operation process.

The aim of this book is to investigate the causes and effects of the crisis in Brazil in the context of the global economic crisis of 2008, which began in the United States of America and still has repercussions in the current Brazilian scenario. Based on the study of the main economic policy instruments adopted in Brazil in the context of the crisis, described in this work, a new panorama has emerged in order to elucidate the problem - first the focus is on the beginning of the crisis, between 2008 and 2009, with a return to the 2000s later, going up to the current trends - in order to clarify the nature of the crisis and the instruments adopted in the administration of public finances in Brazil. To this end, a study was carried out based on the main concepts and policy measures adopted on the international stage. Brazil is inserted into the global context by setbacks and uncertainty. The research reached the political-institutional axis of the problem, elucidated in this paper.

Glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP) is an incretin secreted in the intestine by K cells and is released mainly by a nutritional stimulus mediated by fat and carbohydrate intake. This incretin is implicated in the development of pathologies such as diabetes and obesity, which are among the leading causes of death worldwide. The aim of this study was to review studies reporting the modulation of incretin gene expression and its function in both normal and pathological conditions such as IIDM and obesity. The studies are available in the PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT, MEDLINE databases. Fifty-one articles demonstrating strong evidence on the topic were selected. The evidence reports that GIP in normal states has the main function of promoting insulin secretion and redistribution of adipose tissue. In type 2 diabetes, however, its function was found to be null given the low activity of its receptor on beta cells. In obesity, it was observed that it can contribute to the pro-inflammatory state through the activation of cytokines.

The growing problem of damage caused by Begomoviruses in economically important crops has generated a considerable ecological, social and cultural impact. Their incidence and severity is becoming increasingly alarming in different agricultural production systems, with tomato as the main host. Due to this, over several years, molecular and genetic techniques have emerged aimed at precisely understanding the mechanisms of action and response that take place during the plant-virus interaction. The aim is to elucidate the processes involved in the physiological expression of the plant and the pathogen, and from this, to counteract, inhibit, mitigate and/or eliminate diseases transmitted by this and other types of viruses. This monographic document presents basic information on the characteristics of Begomoviruses, their mechanism of infection and the current molecular techniques grouped within the "omics" tools for the management and control of these pathogens. It is hoped that this document can be useful in the understanding of the main viral diseases of plants.

The purpose of this book is to study the possibilities of historical memory in Colombia on the basis of the philosopher Walter Benjamin. In order to address the aforementioned problem, this book is structured in three parts. The first part contains a reconstruction of the concepts of historical memory applied in Colombia based on three sources: Colombian legislation, the Historical Memory Group of the National Commission for Reparation and Reconciliation, and some victims' organisations. The second part consists of a presentation of the main theses on historical memory, as understood by the philosopher Walter Benjamin in the book of passages and the Theses on History. The third part consists of an analysis of historical memory, as it is being implemented in Colombia, in relation to Benjamin's proposal for redemption.

School Coaching is a form of accompaniment in the redesign of the relationship between the school principal and his/her collaborators, in the short and long term in their mutual effort to solve their interaction and communication problems within the establishment. School Coaching is fundamental in the personal leadership of the members that make up the school, allowing them to evaluate and reflect on their roles, beliefs and objectives, becoming aware of the enormous potential they possess and their internal resources. When school organisations are in conflict, expectations regarding what the other should do, what they expect from the other, usually provoke frustration, sadness, loneliness, impotence, helplessness... and a deep sense of DISENCHANTMENT. Coaching delves into the beliefs and limitations that are anchoring the members in these emotions. These beliefs and limitations are linked to the development of their Emotional Intelligence. In this sense this book puts a special emphasis on the training and development of the soft skills that make up the way to learn how to do School Coaching.

This monograph analyses how judges decide when faced with a human rights controversy through a theoretical-practical approach, which combines an explanation of the different theories on the judicial substantiation of rights with practical examples taken from European and Spanish case law. Through specific examples, the insufficiency of legal positivism for the substantiation of judgements relating to human rights and the persistence of iusnaturalist criteria in the substantiation of judicial decisions relating to human rights are highlighted. In the first part, the study of Human Rights is examined in depth from a philosophical-legal methodology, analysing some of the most relevant problems that have arisen in the Theory of Law as a consequence of the incorporation of fundamental rights into the legal systems arising from neo-constitutionalism. In the second part, special attention is paid to the scope of the European and Spanish system of procedural fundamental rights and its impact on the question of validity and legal interpretation.

Social reliability, as opposed to trust between citizens and rulers, is observed in situations of risk and vulnerability in which individuals and groups identify with frugal lifestyles and coping strategies in the face of economic, environmental, political or community contingencies. In such a context, processes such as social identity, vertical capital, citizen participation or governance are explained by social reliability.

Why do we say text and image, as something separate, as if they were two different things? Because they are. But are they? Because a text is also an image, it is also something visual and an image can also narrate, even as well or better than a text. Or don't we see when we read and don't we read when we see? For example, when we are reading a story, at first we see the letters as letters, then they become an abstraction, we no longer see the letters as letters but as we read they become an image in our mind, we are seeing a text and we are reading an image. The visual and the textual intertwine, overlap and blend, they become one.

At the beginning of a research, it is important to carry out a previous investigation of the field in which it is intended to work, therefore, it is necessary to analyse and outline the background of the problem that will provide help for the solution of the research problem. The following work aims to describe the IFRS implementation process in a company of the Agricultural sector of Valle del Cauca, where different shortcomings were identified in the definition of accounting policies, high implementation costs and few qualified personnel to carry out the process. The Company's management does not authorise the disclosure of its corporate name for this academic purpose. Initially, we will find the research background that served as conceptual input to solve the research problem, which allowed a formulation and systematisation of the research problem, evidencing the need to describe the implementation process and its different problems in the start-up.

Taking into account that the heart has a complex structure, understanding the functionality of all its components makes it more difficult, especially when internal or external disorders intervene and partially modify the configuration of a tissue or the organ as a whole. Cardiac arrhythmias are caused by electrical and structural transformations of the heart, in some cases due to congenital alterations and in others acquired, such as Chagas disease or coronary heart disease. In our Clinical Electrophysiology Service of the Posadas Hospital, under the direction of Dr. Claudio de Zuloaga, we have followed the evolution of patients with severe ventricular arrhythmias for years. The subject of analysis of the text is the functional and evolutionary changes, observing different clinical expressions of the arrhythmogenic substrate, such as arrhythmia morphology, haemodynamic tolerance, sensitivity to pharmacological treatment and others, comparing both heart diseases.

This research conducted a characterization of the variable CO2 emissions and vehicle fleet, a normality test was applied to the data using the Shapiro Wilk analysis, a Pearson correlation test that resulted in a weak correlation of r=-0.2785 due to the increased participation of non-conventional renewable sources in the country's energy matrix, a future projection was made using the least squares model, year by year from 2023 to 2030, resulting in the year 2024 CO2 emissions of 74.However, due to the substantial increase in the number of vehicles, the model yielded probable CO2 emission limits for the next eight (8) years of between 74,266.59 and 90,651.98 CO2 emissions in Colombia.
