Zakât, the legal alms of Muslims, is one of the five pillars of Islam. Verse 60 of Sura Tawbah sets out 8 categories of beneficiaries for whom Zakât may be paid. These include the poor, the needy, Zakat collectors, people sympathetic to Islam, slaves, the insolvent, travelers in distress, and the path of Allah.The title "Creation of an International Zakât Fund: Necessities and feasibility of an internationalization of Zakât law" is an analysis of a project dating back to 2008, which never came to fruition.This book was written to encourage the creation of an International Zakât Fund. The aim is to study the shortcomings of this project and propose effective solutions. The aim is to collect Zakât internationally to help eradicate poverty.

Communication, and specifically oral communication in English, has become a worldwide necessity due to the fact that this language has become a lingua franca. It is therefore necessary to carry out research on its teaching and learning. This paper presents the creation of a learning community as a way to enhance oral communication because through negotiation in a community it is possible to promote stimulating and meaningful learning situations; redistribute the participation of the teacher and students in the planning, development and evaluation of the teaching-learning process of oral communication in English; promote relationships of common values, generate a knowing-how-to-be, a knowing-how-to-do and a knowing-how-to-live-together in solidarity and responsibly.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS) is a common condition affecting 5-14% of adults aged between 30 and 70, characterized by recurrent episodes of more or less complete obstruction of the upper airway (UAS) during sleep. SAHOS leads to iterative desaturations and micro-arousals, with a destructuring of sleep architecture, resulting in the cardiovascular and metabolic complications that make this pathology so serious.Although the definition, classification of severity and therapeutic approach to OSAH are mainly based on the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), it is now well established that OSAH is not a single entity, but a complex, heterogeneous disease that encompasses many very different phenotypes. This heterogeneity stems from the multiplicity of risk factors, pathophysiological mechanisms, clinical presentations and the cardiovascular and metabolic consequences of obstructive events.

We can therefore conclude that this medicine could make a considerably significant contribution to the management of bone trauma in Cameroon.

There is diverse literature that affirms that the gold standard for postoperative analgesia in abdominal surgery is still the epidural technique, but many times we find ourselves unable to perform it. An important component of postoperative pain in abdominal surgery is that derived from the incision of the abdominal wall. Thanks to recent advances in regional anesthesia under ultrasound (US), abdominal wall blocks have achieved greater relevance and are now a real alternative to neuroaxial techniques and have also become a complement in postoperative analgesia. Thanks to the use of US these blocks are performed more safely and with better results. The present work represents how in any hospital, despite the few resources it may have, a better alternative for postoperative pain management should always be sought.

RedUDS is a space for the creation and promotion of collective intelligence, capable of generating new knowledge that makes possible the construction of a teacher more committed to his or her training and willing to share his or her wonderful knowledge. A place to share knowledge. The purpose of this work, entitled: Red Docente de la Universidad Deportiva del Sur - RedUDS, is to offer readers, teachers, researchers and students a compendium of information that demonstrates the previous consultations that were made for the construction of this virtual space. It is the result of a systematic research task as well as the constant exchange of knowledge among teachers, students and sports promoters, who in one way or another offered their contributions to the final product obtained.

Given the current demand for telecommunications systems, frequency selective surfaces, active and passive FSS, have attracted the attention of several research groups due to their numerous applications, such as antenna reflectors, efficient windows, smart walls, among others. Against this backdrop, this paper presents the development of a reconfigurable frequency selective surface based on the four-arm star geometry for application in the 2400-2483.5 MHz band of the IEEE 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi) and IEEE 802.15 (Bluetooth) standards. The PIN diode was used as the switching element. Numerical results are presented, obtained using the commercial software ANSYS Designer, which is based on the Method of Moments, MoM, and experimental results, showing good agreement between them.

The book analyzes the labor market of the maquiladora export industry in Mexico based on the feminist economics of the labor market, which includes all sources of household supply that define the overall labor of the economy. The objective is to clarify how the gender division of domestic labor creates differences in the labor force and how capital takes advantage of these characteristics to improve the profit level of the maquiladora sector.

J. Bouveresse's Philosophie, mythologie, pseudo-science : Wittgenstein lecteur de Freud was the first key to this study. It explains Wittgenstein's trenchantly critical stance towards Freudian theory - namely, that psychoanalysis has little to do with the realm of science, but much more with the realm of aesthetic research. The second key is the similarity between the Spinozist and Freudian approaches: an inflexible faith in hard determinism (as expressed by W. James in his article The Dilemma of Determism), a description of the human psyche (the interplay of affects and the Freudian topic), and a method for redirecting man's harmful determinism towards a happier one (the rational analysis of the causes that make us act and psychoanalysis).Three centuries apart, the same problem and the same foundations on which to answer it. Yet the Dutch philosopher's Ethics is described as metaphysical, while Freudian theory is described as scientific. This study offers an epistemological critique of Freudian theory from a Spinozist perspective.

This study corresponds to a reflective pedagogical practice, which aimed at strengthening the argumentative skills of basic education students of an official educational institution, through the implementation of a didactic sequence based on the basic learning rights as a strategy to measure and recognize the progress of students in terms of their levels of argumentation in natural sciences. The procedure was developed in three specific phases: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation, together with the structuring of an educational material of scientific literacy that favored the simulation of argumentative situations in the classroom because it demanded the negotiation of meaningful meanings and the development of critical thinking. This is a qualitative research, which describes the scope of the basic learning right together with the level of performance achieved by the students regarding the use of scientific language, the mastery of the topics, the support of ideas and the management of their own concepts to represent, explain and describe the phenomena of reality.

The monograph describes the reasons for the 21st century humanity's transition from economic cooperation to global turbulence. The result was the formation of regional ecosystems of globalization. These ecosystems are integrated into the digital reality. The analysis of geopolitical dynamics in the paradigm of modern heterology is carried out with a focus on differences and opportunities for dialog of local differences. Attention is paid to the crisis state of the European ecosystem. The sign of this crisis is the collapse of the system of neocolonialism.

The Central African Republic, proclaimed on December 1, 1958 by Barthélémy Boganda, the first priest, first deputy and first head of government of Oubangui-Chari, is a vast territory colonized by France between 1910 and 1960. This immense geographical area of 623,000 km² has a small population, the smallest on the black continent: almost 4,500,000 ha with an average density of 7.5 ha per km2. While its population is not large compared with Nigeria (over 100,000,000 ha, Democratic Republic of Congo: over 60,000,000 ha), etc., it is, on the contrary, a gigantic asset of green space, a veritable water tower that can grow any plant in the world, innumerable natural resources such as jewelry diamonds, gold, uranium, cement, oil and certain rare minerals. It should also be pointed out that research work has been carried out throughout the region, the results of which remain unpublished to this day.

Organizations play a very important role in a country's economy, contributing to economic, social and cultural development by alleviating poverty, creating new jobs for young people and increasing economic income, thus boosting purchasing power and improving living conditions. However, organizations are subject to prior registration, and the creation process varies from country to country, depending on the objectives, nature and size of the organization. The main management, administrative and supervisory bodies are: the Conference of Heads of State for intergovernmental organizations; the Board of Directors for companies and corporations; General Assemblies and Management Committees for restricted structures. The main official documents are constitutions, internal rules of conduct and business plans.Organizations must be exemplary seats of good governance, with managers of the century at their head, full of "soft skills" and "hard skills".

The advent of crypto-currencies and digital currency issuers introduces a new component to the exercise of monetary sovereignty, which will be profoundly altered by the ability of crypto-currencies to undermine the influence of Central Banks. Crypto-currencies should lead to the further liberalization of an activity that was originally the preserve of the State through the Central Bank, and which is now open to commercial banks through the issuance of scriptural money. The new digital instruments are thus invading the sharing of seigniorage attached to the issue of money, inherent in the exercise of monetary sovereignty. At a time when the digital divide is widening, the irruption of blockchain technologies should lead us to reflect deeply on the model of monetary sovereignty under construction. This curiosity about the innovations of our time, as much as the fear of seeing the monetary sovereignty of states crumble in the face of a new technological disruption, led to the choice of this study.

The research "THE APPLICATION OF THE CODE OF ETHICS FOR EMPLOYEES AT THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF CEARÁ" found that the code of ethics at the Federal University of Ceará pays special attention to the proper functioning of the institution, the interests of the community and valuing human beings. This points to the need to adopt preventive educational measures aimed at the behaviour of teaching staff.

This text seeks to show the reader that the view of geopolitics has changed substantially with the paradigm shift from the cold war to globalization. The need to coexist in a fragile space, with varied needs, forces the State to look at its own potentialities and exploit them for the benefit of its population, before venturing to satisfy those needs of life, of power, of position, in the neighboring territory. I want to share with you many hours of study, a rich academic discussion with supporters and detractors and a vision of the problem according to the parameters imposed by the XXI century.

The Spiritual, Ethical and Moral sphere has repercussions on any human action and conduct, and especially in the educational field, confronting the student's life from the first moments of their basic education to become the pillar and foundation of their physical, mental and spiritual health. The essential education proposed here is to co-generate and build up everything that truly respects human dignity, and that recognises the integral demands of the person, with the constant tendency to involve the classroom in the building of a fraternal community. This formation demands of students a constant effort and work that aims to achieve a better life for each student, as well as the concrete good of the community of those around them. From the foundations of integral humanism, an authentic civilisation of people can emerge, that is to say, culture or civilisation as the emergence of properly human life, not only in terms of intellectual and material development, but also in terms of the necessary and vital spiritual-moral development that allows us to conduct ourselves virtuously in the search for love in its total fullness.

The study focused on citizen participation in local governance in the commune of Abomey Calavi, Benin. Using both a quantitative and qualitative methodological approach, data collection and analysis enabled us to identify shortcomings linked to citizen participation in local governance in the Commune. Solutions to these shortcomings were proposed.

Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) corresponds to excessive systemic activation of the coagulation process. An underlying etiology must always be sought. In the case of an infectious cause, rapid identification of the causative agent, and consequent initiation of appropriate treatment, can improve the patient's prognosis. In fact, although symptomatic treatment of DIC is essential to control its clinical impact, the cornerstone of treatment remains the management of the underlying etiology, particularly in the case of infection, given the relative ease of initiating treatment compared with neoplastic pathologies.The aim of our work was to study the clinical and biological characteristics of DIC of infectious origin, to identify the infectious agents and to define its evolution.

This work arises from the shortcomings detected in new students entering engineering degrees. When studying Differential Calculus, it is common for teachers to introduce the subject of optimisation problems at the end of the course, as an exclusive application of this discipline. This proposal suggests its incorporation prior to the study of the concept of the derivative, studying the variation, with the implementation of technology and didactic situations, analysing the trajectory of the students from that point until culminating the investigation with the solution of the same problems from the point of view of Calculus. The results can be surprising.

The present time is characterized by a growing scientific-technical development. In it, the culture reached by the man opens the doors towards the attainment of high levels of sports competitiveness. These possibilities are combined with high demands in sports competitions at international level, where mercantilist interests are manifested. In this direction, today there is a series of conceptual, structural and operative changes in the competitive models, which depend on the great variations in the systems of preparation of the athlete; as well as in the scientific direction of the sport teacher and the corresponding technological base of the training process. A distinctive feature of these changes is the inexorable increase of the physical loads on the athlete.

Sarcoidosis is a multi-systemic disease. The kidneys are less frequently affected by sarcoidosis than other organs. Nevertheless, physicians caring for patients with sarcoidosis need to be aware of the possibility of renal involvement, in order to diagnose this potentially life-threatening complication promptly and treat it effectively. In this manual, two chapters have been raised: the first chapter is a review of the bibliography on secondary renal involvement, mainly by sarcoidosic granuloma formation or secondarily by hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria and nephrocalcinosis. The second chapter deals with a retrospective study of patients with sarcoidosis nephropathy in our department, where renal biopsies were read by the same pathologist. This manual is intended for clinical assistants, residents and interns in (nephrology, internal medicine, pneumology, rheumatology...) as well as general practitioners.

This research work analyzes the importance of service quality in the context of higher education and its impact on student retention, satisfaction and career success. Through a literature review, we examine several models and tools, such as SERVQUAL, HEdPERF, SERVPERF, and E-S-QUAL, for assessing the quality of services offered by higher education institutions. We also examine the mediating and regulating factors that can influence the relationship between service quality and academic performance. Our research highlights the complex nature of service quality, influenced by both academic and extracurricular factors. Moreover, students' trust and behavioral intentions, such as collaboration, compliance and advocacy, are strongly influenced by service quality. Universities have the opportunity to implement targeted actions to improve their students' educational experience by understanding the complex interactions between service quality and academic outcomes.

This document includes the research background of the archaeological site of San Pedro de los Pinos-Mixcoac, located within Mexico City, as well as two archaeological research projects carried out in the surrounding area. The results and a delimitation proposal are shown. We hope that this work will be useful to the academic community, since the work of the Directorate of Archaeological Salvage of INAH tries to provide data for the knowledge of archaeological sites within urban contexts.

In the society of the 21st century, the teacher must be a guide convinced that one cannot teach with the tools of the past if one wants to train the citizens of a future that, properly speaking and, to tell the truth, is already among us. This book, the publication of which we await with great anticipation, is the result of research work that has been presented at conferences and recommended for publication. Chapter I deals with the problem of evaluation in rather general terms. Chapter II offers a didactic strategy involving body movements treated with different methodological resources and the use of different materials. Chapter III examines Archimedes' principle by means of a didactic sequence using a variety of resources. Chapter IV introduces the subject of simple harmonic motion, where mathematics is used as the basis for the equations and graphs. To close our work proposal, chapter V deals with the research topic of this group, which currently refers to the theory of competences.

This work was carried out at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) as part of the Software Quality Master in its Fourth Edition. It is aimed at strengthening skills about testing processes during the development of video games. It offers an alternative to work with this type of software, with the objective of obtaining and bringing to the public higher quality products.

The advent of globalization in the middle of the XX¿ century was a decisive turning point in the history of mankind, as it brought about a kind of interdependence in virtually every aspect of life within society. In this logic of social interconnection, the media seem to occupy a place of choice because of the crucial role they play in blurring state borders and national forms of cultural belonging in favor of new, transnational forms of belonging. As a result, they have managed to slip into the very heart of the formation of collective social consciousness. At the same time, they have become real factors in the mobility of populations. In this article, we analyse this state of affairs, starting with a brief review of the major trends that have marked the history of media sociology, followed by an analysis of the relationship between media and migration, and ending with a case study of young Ivorians and the role of Western media in their desire to emigrate.

The instructional design of a virtual cataloging course for librarians, motivated the development of the research work within the continuous or company training sector, as an alternative to traditional training practices, in which the student's autonomous learning is enhanced and contributes to the rationalization of resources allocated by the companies in the training processes. The analysis of the public library environment, content development, student activities, evaluation and assessment tools and the functional graphic design of the course, continuous evaluation of the teaching and learning process, measurement of knowledge transfer, overall satisfaction with the course and economic impact are addressed. Twenty-five librarians from different regions of Colombia participated in the implementation of the course.
