This book highlights the challenges of modernising Mauritania's public sector, highlighting the main thrusts and proposing recommendations to ensure quality. The aim is to provide answers to these challenges by revealing the BSC's financial and other indicators in order to make it easier to understand the situation at a technical, social and cultural level.The distinction between Mauritanian establishments, i.e. EPICs and EPAs, must be mastered through BSC and TB Scores for good management of F and NF indicators.

The production of fish in captivity has increased significantly worldwide. Over the last three decades, global aquaculture has grown twelvefold, at an average rate of 8.8 per cent per year. In Brazil, net pond fish farming has been encouraged by government agencies so that Brazilian reservoirs and dams can be made available for intensive fish farming. However, despite the economic and social growth, this type of farming can have a number of environmental impacts. Food inputs used in farming are released directly into the environment and some studies have pointed to the presence of contaminants, including mercury (Hg) in the feed provided, which can make the fish produced an important source of Hg contamination in human populations.

The circus is a nomadic community that, wherever it goes, carries everything it needs to survive: a few mobile homes, a handful of performers, a trained elephant, two or three camels, a school, and... a master. That's right, in the circus you also study. In Mexico, the educational system is responsible for sending teachers to travel with the circus caravans and provide basic education to the children of circus performers and workers. This research describes the circus people's spectacular way of living the world, as well as how their culture can be reflected in the school their children attend. This research contributes to the recognition of human diversity, under the argument that if there is no single valid way of living in the world, then there is no single valid way of living in school. Perhaps that is why the real challenge of this book is not to describe the strange things that happen in a circus school, but to make those who read it question the "normality" of the school in which they grew up and the culture in which they were born.

In view of the 2021 legislative elections in Morocco, we thought it would be interesting to study the relationship between political ideologies and the tax proposals set out in the manifestos of Moroccan political parties, using a literature review to highlight the different ideologies inherent in taxation, such as the liberal, social and solidarity-based approaches. Next, we studied the ideological positioning of the five largest political parties in Morocco, namely the Al Istiqlal party, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, the Justice and Development party, the Authenticity and Modernity party and the Independents party. Finally, for each of these parties, we examined the tax proposals set out in their programs for the 2021 legislative campaign.

The use of medicinal plants for curative purposes is a practice that has been used since time immemorial, medicinal plants were the main and even the only resource available to physicians. To determine the effectiveness of a community intervention on the knowledge and use of phytotherapy. A quasi-experimental study was carried out with the population of a medical office belonging to the polyclinic of Manacas, Santo Domingo municipality in the period from September 2021 to June 2023. A predominance of low and medium level of knowledge about phytotherapy was observed, being more frequent the patients with medium superior level (53.75%). The (97%) referred knowledge acquired by family tradition, the plants most used by patients were Garlic and Caña Santa, likewise the empirical form predominated as motivation for patients in the use of phytotherapy (57.50%), after the measures implemented, the cultivation of medicinal plants in the homes and the level of knowledge about green medicine increased considerably, achieving satisfaction on the part of the patients who participated in the study.

Charles Darwin's natural evolution of species, through the haphazard specialization of genes resistant to neopathogens or neopathologies, should no longer be a model for biodiversity conservation. Biodiversity conservation could therefore be based on the genetic improvement of susceptible seed genes. This technique would play a major role in reinforcing biological diversity, by preserving both obsolete seeds and "predatory" neopathogens through gene reconstruction, in a context of climate change.

Virtual University Management is leveraged on Technological Intelligence in order to take advantage of the benefits of a distance learning platform and optimise performance indicators in academic, extension and research processes. In addition to the challenges of generating employment opportunities and entrepreneurship based on innovation aimed at the welfare of citizens. In this sense, each element of intelligence incorporated into the virtual education and training model improves aspects of attention and evaluation of university processes. Emphasis is placed on strengthening the levels of links with the socio-productive sectors. The productive path of the universities is traced in the permanent monitoring of flanks that can be exploited for improvement and innovation through the incorporation of new technologies. In this way, information and communication technologies intertwined with virtual learning spaces promote better results for university organisations.

Morocco, like many other countries, has seen rapid growth in e-commerce in recent years. With the proliferation of smartphones and improved Internet connectivity, more and more Moroccans are turning to online shopping. With the increasing development of e-commerce, we are now witnessing an upheaval in the classic pattern of commercial relations, and the inadequacy of traditional tax principles. Tax authorities are now faced with the challenge of taxing these virtual transactions. This new landscape increases the risk of new forms of tax evasion and fraud, requiring innovative strategies to counter them.The aim of this work is to study the legal arsenal put in place by Moroccan and other legislators to regulate e-commerce, with a view to ensuring a certain level of security for all players in this virtual space. We also analyze the international consensus on the taxation of electronic transactions.

This study focuses on the training of French-language teachers in Algeria, with particular reference to junior cycle teachers. Teacher training was examined from the angle of continuity or rupture between in-service training and initial training, in the context of the reform of the Algerian education system.Two training institutions were chosen: the University of Blida2 and the ENS of Bouzaréah- Algiers. A comparative approach highlighted the similarities and differences in the type of training provided at these two institutions.

The general objective was to establish the relationship between health management and the satisfaction of older adult patients at the EsSalud Hospital in Peru. The study was developed based on a non-experimental design, of a descriptive correlational type; likewise, we worked with a population and sample of 274 older adult patients users of the medicine service of the EsSalud Hospital. The information was handled and analyzed according to the dimensions of the variables under study and then shown by means of descriptive tables and graphs, and the Rho-Spearman linear correlation test was used to refute the hypothesis.

Personality is the essence and characterization of a human being that necessarily forces to the choice of a professional career and even more to the exercise in practice, the health sciences being a profession of high warmth, quality and complexity, with dedication, empathy and ability to solve the problems of daily professional work, in this beautiful art how important and fundamental is to adjust to their being and doing. On the other hand, the psychological well-being is that subjective sensation that we have; combining these two variables allows us to see the reality in our current society. The present work is based on the study carried out on men and women, between 25 and 65 years old, who worked in the health sector, as physicians. The wonderful world of personality and how the cognitive interpretation of well-being makes us unique among so many millions of inhabitants.

Human ageing is a natural process in everyone's life. With the passage of time, physical, motor and cognitive skills, among others, become a little slower, but these characteristics do not limit the individual. In the case of women, ageing causes not only a decline in the aforementioned skills, but also an unsightly aspect, as many women become depressed as they get older and isolate themselves from social interaction. Throughout the book, we will see some excerpts in which the elderly women say they feel more beautiful, attractive and sensual, changing their profile from "sad" women to women with high self-esteem, vain and positive about ageing.

Due to the technological changes and new computer tools that exist today, a much broader environment of insecurity has been generated. One would think that the greater the technology, the greater the security, but in reality, by flooding the market with new technological products, goods and services, the user is entering into an excessive virtual vice that blinds him to the security controls that he must adopt to protect his information and data, it is this consumerist activity that has no limit, to the point of preferring technology to computer security.

Most Brazilian soils are highly acidic, and the presence of a high concentration of aluminium ion becomes one of the limiting factors in agricultural production, as it impairs plant growth by inhibiting root elongation. We therefore sought to study the deleterious effects caused by aluminium ion in a hydroponic system on the growth of bean species based on physiological parameters.

Since its origins through Freud, psychoanalysis has made contributions to understanding the human psyche, and through its language it makes it possible to treat various neuroses, including the obsessive ones caused by technology. The research recognizes the need for appropriate therapeutic approaches to address these issues.

This paper is an analysis of electoral campaigns carried out in institutions of the City of Buenos Aires that have soccer as their main sporting activity. The elections in San Lorenzo de Almagro in 2016 and the elections in Vélez Sarsfield in 2017 were taken as witness cases, for being the clubs with the largest membership at the time of the election, except for the two most important clubs in the country that have an exceptional media coverage. The analysis evaluates the campaigns of the winning groups, which are differentiated by being an officialism and an opposition. While the ruling party in San Lorenzo won with a campaign based on showing the management carried out, the opposition in Vélez Sarsfield carried out a multidisciplinary work in events, talks, interviews and dissemination in social networks. The conclusions are based on the study of different interviews to national and partisan graphic and audiovisual media, on the posters and leaflets distributed in the stadiums and surrounding areas and on the different spots and messages disseminated through social networks.

Nowadays most of the companies are changing their business perspective, that is to say, nowadays they are making a great effort to respect the environment and to have a commitment with the society, the objective of this type of companies, although they are oriented to look for a positive economic result, they also look for an environmental and social result. This is possible thanks to certain practices applied by the company's human resources in order to make their operation possible.

The aim of this book is to disseminate knowledge about bullying in public schools in Angola, with an emphasis on a study carried out over the course of a year in the Municipality of Bailundo, Huambo-Angola Province, specifically at Calandula School No. 2, from 2022 to 2023. Leonardo Hermes Dutra is a Veterinarian who graduated in 2006 from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria - RS. His main lines of research and work have been in the areas of Veterinary Clinical Pathology and Preventive Veterinary Medicine. He co-authored the book "Prevention... is still the best medicine" with an emphasis on zoonoses and the health programme for diseases in populations. In 2008 and 2009, he was trained in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and EPI-INFO. He graduated from EPISUS (Tephinet Global network of field epidemiology training) in 2012. He has worked in the Malaria Control programme in Brazil and currently in the Ministry of Health (MS), Brazil, focusing on laboratory epidemiology, Tableau and data analysis.

The text introduces us to various intertwined themes; on the one hand, resorting to important theoretical approaches of social psychology and, on the other, to the analysis of the strong economic dependence of countries with emerging economies. Thus, the problems of the migration of Mexicans from the Huasteca Potosina, the social and environmental conditions that expel them from their communities of origin, the adaptive adjustments to the receiving culture on their journey to the United States, and the use of the economic resources generated are amalgamated to present a very valuable approach to the reality addressed.

This study contributes to the valorization of Cinnamosma madagascariensis essential oil in the field of medicinal plants. The essential oil was extracted from the leaves using the Clevenger hydrodistillation method. Physico-chemical analyses demonstrated the purity and high quality of the extracted essential oil. The essential oil components were analyzed and molecules such as sabinene, terpinene, 1,8 cineol, etc. were identified. Toxicity tests were carried out and the results showed no toxicity. The antioxidant activity test of the essential oil showed positive efficacy. Finally, a balm was produced using Cinnamosma madagascariensis essential oil as the active ingredient.

This study reviewed the removal of casein and gluten from the diet of autistic people, the main measures of the Sunderland Protocol, a document guiding biomedical actions aimed at treating autism. The justification for the study is based on the scarcity of studies on the subject and the wide-ranging debate on the efficacy of casein- and gluten-free diets in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. The aim was to carry out a literature search on the scientific basis of removing casein and gluten from the diet of patients with autism spectrum disorder and to expose other adjuvant actions present in the protocol in order to verify the possibility of reducing the symptoms of the disorder. This is the first study in a series of three works that seek treatment and raise consistent hypotheses about the origins of the disorder.

Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease caused by the pathogenic bacterium Leptospira, which remains in the renal tubules of certain animals. Humans become infected when they come into contact with infected animals or with the contaminated environment. Leptospirosis has an endemic behavior, with epidemic outbreaks in several continents, and is considered the most widespread zoonosis in the world. It has been reported in different regions of the world. The distribution of the reservoirs of infection and of the different leptospira serovars is worldwide; it occurs in urban and rural areas, both in developing and developed countries. This is why the evolution of this entity can be observed in all continents. However, it predominates in tropical areas, in Southeast Asia, in China it is endemic, 74.8% of farmers are affected, according to a study conducted by Hu Jing from 1960 to 1995. In India, it is very frequent. In Latin America and in developing countries it is frequent, where socioeconomic conditions and poor sanitary conditions are conducive to the disease.

Since its conception, educational innovation has strengthened important aspects in the teaching-learning process, including new strategies used by teachers as well as the integration of students, the importance of collaborative learning of group dynamics with reflective approaches to thinking and development of the various components of the group, and the enhancement of interpersonal relationship skills among participants.In view of the above, this study presented important issues from the problematic highlighted in the multidimensional environment of students, and the very slow incorporation of ICT, which gave way to the development of e-learning and blended learning models (b-learning and blended-learning). The objective of the research was to establish a critical foundation for the strengthening of teaching innovation in ICTs for collaborative student learning.

In recent years, agriculture has contributed to the increase in degraded areas, deforestation of native areas and an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Added to this are low production rates, poor economic returns and environmental degradation, resulting in rural exodus and poverty. The use of strategies such as pasture recovery through nitrogen fertilisation and, above all, the use of forage legumes, has made it possible to increase productivity and mitigate emissions. In extensive livestock farming, large quantities of nitrogen are returned to the environment through animal excreta, which can be cycled or lost through volatilisation and leaching. One of the intermediary gases in these processes is nitrous oxide, a gas with a high potential for global warming. Therefore, an approach that identifies the quantities and concentrations of nitrogen in cattle excreta in degraded pastures fertilised with nitrogen and intercropped with legumes allows for better adoption of emission mitigation strategies.

State, S&T+I and territorial development in Colombia, presents an overview of the current situation in the country with respect to the role of science, technology and innovation in territorial development. Departments such as Putumayo, Vaupés, Guaviare, among others, have little use of knowledge to favour their endogenous territorial development, due to the scarce use of S&T&I in the business and productive system, non-existence of patents, minimal presence of researchers, low investment in R&D, insufficient number of research groups, among other indicators. On the contrary, Bogotá, Antioquia, the coffee-growing region, Cundinamarca, ... have the human capacities and infrastructure to articulate S&T&I with the economic and industrial dynamics, mainly to favour endogenous territorial development. In this dynamic, the Colombian state plays a fundamental role in solving market failures and systemic failures in order to accelerate the quality of life and social welfare from the perspective of science, technology and innovation.
