  • - Our Vanishing Mother
    von Kent Courtney
    17,00 €

The Courtney kids grew up knowing that their mother could do anything. After all, she''d proven it time and again. Growing up as a Missouri farm girl, Lovene worked as a Rosie Riveter during World War II. She left Missouri headed for California, but ended up settling in Arizona where she had four kids with her second husband, taking on the daunting task of raising them in forest camps while her husband worked for the Forest Service. After their divorce, she became a single mom with four children, working two jobs to pay the bills, and making sure they all graduated from high school. After her kids left home, she managed her own business. Nothing ever stopped Lovene; there was no hurdle too high for her to jump, no problem too big for her to solve. But then dementia changed who she was, and her children watched their self-reliant, compassionate mother turn into a confused, and often bitter person. Dealing with Dementia is a tribute to an extraordinary woman, and a deeply personal glimpse into the world of dementia care-giving. Kent and Linda give loving, practical advice for caregivers, based on what they''ve learned from their experiences. Dealing with Dementia is a beautiful love letter to an unforgettable mother, and a comforting resource for families and caregivers of dementia patients.

If it could be comparable to music, the chorus of our lives through time might be termed an evolving sound whose tonal harmonies clash as often as they align. So it is with reconciling our own destinies and far greater that of the world. In ''The Song of Lei Anne'' poetic verses and stories are utilized to explore some of the boundaries between life, love, death and the mystical truths we seek along the often tortured pathways sought to uncover those answers. Is fate itself the final determiner, or do we ourselves have the power to alter its verdict? ''The Song of Lei Anne and Other Poetic Stirrings'' does not judge it but would have the reader explore in a deeper sense the value of what has gone before us and what lessons we still have time to learn.

Senator Beth Davenport was a rarity in Washington—a revered statesperson with a spotless reputation who served the public interest. But away from the halls of Congress, she was an enigma. Among her belongings, her son, Troy, stumbles upon a suitcase containing millions in cash and now questions whether she was just another dirty politician. In searching for answers, he pieces together the mosaic of his mother’s life and tries to reconcile the public persona with her private one. Along the way, he also falls head-over-heels for a remarkable woman who becomes his sounding board and wailing wall. The Senator’s Suitcase is Mitch Engel’s fourth novel, and like his others, The Senator’s Suitcase weaves contemporary themes with timeless values.  This thought-provoking work is intriguing and satirical, but never heavy-handed, as it draws to an unexpected conclusion. In this tumultuous election year, The Senator’s Suitcase will cause readers to ponder the complex background and conflicted motivations of a genuine national stateswoman…and ultimately wish someone like her was running for our highest office.

  • - An Oral History of a Living Legend, My Dad, Tim Busch
    von MacKenzie Busch

Most kids are convinced their father is boring, lame, embarrassing, annoying, overprotective, and generally someone to avoid once you''re old enough to escape the house. Not my dad-Tim Busch is the exact opposite of boring and his travel schedule is just the tip of the iceberg to prove it. My father is a kind, devout, supportive, successful, loving, childlike and an overall great human being. The Paperboy is a love letter to my pops and incredible mom. This book is an oral history of Tim Busch''s life and career from the proverbial horse''s mouth (that''s you dad). It holds all the lessons I learned from a year of conversations with my parents in 2018 to 2019. My brother and I are so grateful for all the late nights, hard work, and many sacrifices dad made; over the years, to give us such an incredibly blessed life. Thank you to my amazing parents who are truly role models for our family, friends, and community. I am so happy that all future generations, family and friends will know what a great, loving man Tim Busch really is. Let me count the ways...

Once upon a time we believed in Santa Claus, but we quickly grew jaded. We surrendered not only the beliefs of childhood but we held loosely to what are the foundations of today. We utter the Pledge of Allegiance so often that it loses its meaning. We worship God, but we no longer believe to the depths of our being the words he taught us, "Our Father who art in heaven...." Where are you on the journey to believing that which will sustain you? How far have you come to a childlike faith which will enable you to be in God''s arms? This book is intended to reflect on one person''s journey toward this magnificent aspiration and hope.

  • - Talk to Angels, Contact Spirit, Spiritual Gifts
    von Cynthia a Christman
    25,00 €

We Can Talk with Our Loved Ones in Heaven! In her first message to me from her new world, my twin sister Terri described her transformation to spirit.  “I saw the accident because I was already out of the car when it happened. I was floating above the car with the angels. I didn’t feel any pain or suffering. I felt nothing but peace as my spirit left my body. There was a swirl of energy surrounding me; my energy became encompassed and encased into that energy. It was a breath of the fresh air I had longed for, for so long. A weary soul was able to return home fulfilled.”We were all born with the innate ability to see and hear angels and the spirits of our deceased loved ones. We played with them. We talked with them. We were friends with them.Unfortunately, for most of us, the adults in our life didn’t remember their childhood friends. They told us that these beings were imaginary because they could no longer see or hear them. When we stopped talking to them, our friends went away. They were still around us; we just could not see or hear them anymore. And because we could not see or hear them, we accepted the mistaken belief that we need to see or hear something for it to exist. For Terri, much of her existence is still the same. She continues to take classes and serve God in her new home. She had reunited with family and friends that lined up to welcome her when she arrived on the Other Side. She has not forgotten the family she left behind on the Earth Plane. She is still very much a part of our lives. She has flickered lights and gifted pennies and feathers. She has visited various family members in different ways; as a white or yellow butterfly, a dragonfly, and even a little green frog! She has come to all of us in our dreams. Her youngest grandchildren can still see and talk with her, while the rest of our family works to re-develop our loss abilities. In Connect with Heaven: Talk to Angels, Contact Spirit, Spiritual Gifts, you will find methods to re-discover your lost gifts of communicating with angels and the deceased, along with dozens of riveting, first-hand accounts of spiritual experiences. What would you ask a loved one in Heaven? What would they tell you about their new world?

  • - Book I
    von Philoma Noel
    20,00 €

Humanity in general is misled daily by past failures and circumstances directly or indirectly from our lives.  Most of the times, those obstacles can be very hard to overcome unless one finds the will to come out of the miry clay and stand on a rock to stay.  That rock is only Jesus, the means by which our lives and focus can be reform for a better tomorrow.  This is the purpose of writing The Point Of No Return.  It is to inspire the broken hearted and neglected that there is a better way than drugs or alcohol.  Our lives are important regardless of what we have gone through.  The situations of the past were not to destroy us but to edify us.  I am persuaded that the troubles of my past were not to make us bitter but to make us better.  That is why this book is written to help the needy rise to the full potential that the maker made us for.  We were made in his image and after he was done, he said, we were good.  That is what I believe and know, God does not lie!By reading this book one would be encouraged to know obstacles are not forever but are seasonal.  Like the different seasons, they come and they go.  Each season has a specific purpose and plan.  Without one, our world and lives would be disastrous. That is why tests and trials are only but for a moment working in us something greater than what can be seen.  At the end, our tests are going to bring growth and immeasurable experience for the future wellbeing of many.    The point of no return shows how our path can and will be hard but circumstances will stop us and make us bitter, only if we allow it.  This book is a timely answer to many successful people victimized presently by past situations. You should not let this happen to you so I encourage you to rise for this is your season of harvest.

  • - (Isaiah 43:19) Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
    von Cordell Mitchell
    46,00 €

In this book I have examined thirty points of God ending prophesies of a coming event and then begins a new thing in the New Testament. Not always are these points clearly seen in the church. One that is not clearly seen but when pointed out, it becomes obvious: Leprosy. In the Old Testament, Naaman the Syrian, the four lepers at the gate of Samaria, the instructions for the offerings of the cleansing of a leper in Leviticus, and other places pointed to leprosy, but no leper was ever cleansed that was an Israelite. These places did not seem to be a prophecy, until Jesus healed leprosy and told them to go show themselves to the priests and offer the gift Moses required as a witness. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13. And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. (Luk 17:12-14) Literally, every leper pointed to Him who was coming to heal and deliver from leprosy. Then Jesus came, and thereafter He has been healing the leprosy of sin ever since through the gospel message. So also, are the twenty-nine others. In total, there are one hundred, yet the book had to end at thirty. The next 70 may be given to you, the reader, to write and thereby finish this work that I have begun. The title of this book says it all: "A New Thing."

The prevalence of Uterine Fibroid among black African women of childbearing age has dimmed their hope of conception and destroyed many marriages, homes, and lives. Many of these women did not realize the presence of this deadly scourge in their uterus until it became symptomatic. You don''t know what Oddie went through in trying to conceive after many years of marriage and no baby; yes, no single baby to show for it. The pains, the tears, the anguish, the pressure, the stigmatization, the rejection, the low self-esteem, and the shame were unimaginable. You certainly don''t know what Oddia and his wife Oddie did while they waited. They became vulnerable and followed all medical, spiritual, natural, and diabolical pieces of advice that did not work but rather left behind grave avoidable consequences; and like the Biblical woman with the issue of blood, their affliction left deep holes in their pockets. Some of those who were children when Oddia and Oddie first got married became themselves married, had their babies, and joined the free bandwagon of Senior Special Advisers. Soon, the couple became the bywords and objects of haggling by mockers, scoffers, and pretenders in the marketplace of public opinion. As a result, they retreated from public glare and stopped looking up to a God who was busy looking down at someone else. Read on if you really want to know.
