Those dedicated to service have become the subject of persecution. Although persecution aims at discouraging the faithfuls from professing and practising their faith, it helps in the spread of Christianity and keeps the church spiritually strong and healthy, how then can one describe a situation where it is the Church that persecutes the faithfuls?Regrettably, many churches are altering their creed to accommodate the new communities of unrepentant believers and replacing faithfuls with reprobates; they smuggle materialism into the Church and are raising hybrid of materialistic Christians.In docility, the Church has jettisoned the Christian mission for the pursuit of material wealth and is breeding a completely new generation of “Very Shallow and Ignorant Christians”, who are lacking in the basic values of the Christian faith. No wonder, when they prophecy, it no longer comes to pass.The Church: In the beginning it was not so, is the history of Christianity and the Church, which aims to build a strong base of Christian faith in individual Christians and the Church in general.

With the election of President Trump, we must look back to see the original intent of our founding fathers, take a snapshot of the current state of separation, and peer into the future to see if the balance between politics and religion can be sustained.

This book covers my 25 years working in sales for a company that manufactured technical training systems, which were marketed to public schools in the USA. It covers the learning curve of a sales trainee, and how to sell products. It continues to follow my career path through various levels of sales management, and all of the issues encountered, while working as an employee, both good and bad, until I was promoted to vice president of the company. You will read about my having to report to a very difficult boss, and how I dealt with it.After 25 years, I resigned, and started my own company. I was successful, and enjoyed going to work every day. Starting a company, and building a business, has a lot of challenges. When I reached the age of 55, my training allowed me to enjoy the most productive years of my career. I hope you enjoy my story.

Slipping in the Church is an addition to my first book, Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, but I kept hearing, what happened? I had this notion that everything would be peaches and cream once I accepted Christ-Not! I will take you on my journey of many struggles I continued to deal with while going to church, trying to figure out how to maneuver as a born-again believer, while still trying to hold onto the things of the world. Some things I was instantly freed from; some behaviors took years to overcome, such as smoking, drinking, the abortions, amongst other things, while still hanging on to the Word of God, which I had sown into my life from what I had learned.
