  • - A Soldier's Diary of January 6th 1999
    von Francis Koroma

The NIGERIAN CAPTAIN signaled for the drivers to get ready, and he turned and signaled for me to sit with him at the front of the lead truck. There was no time for rehearsals, the enemy was already within and there was no Orders process. I sat there not knowing what was going to become of us once we start engaging the enemy. In almost every military operation, there is a need for proper planning, but we had failed one of the five fundamentals factors of SUN TZU, the "Methods," 'Failing to plan is planning to fail.' There is a popular quote in the United States Military: "Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance," I wish we had time for prior planning. The capital of Freetown was on fire and smoke could be seen below as we descended the hills of CONGO CROSS and it was just a matter of time before we are welcomed by the enemy. The element of surprise was not possible, and the enemy had the upper hand, but we had the will to retake FREETOWN and make it Free again.

We all have only one life to live. It is safe to assume that we all want to live a long and healthy life free from pain, disease and untimely death. A New Lease on Life helps us to do that based on research by various authorities mostly in holistic medicine. It shows you how the body works and what you can do to help it do its work of self-repair or healing. We learn that the body balances its alkalinity and acidity at 80/20% ratio. The foods we eat need to follow that ratio of 80% alkaline foods and 20% acid-forming foods. Because we are unable to follow this 4:1 ratio the body has to break down healthy structures and tissues in a process called catabolism. This is needed to keep us within 7.4pH (slightly alkaline range) especially in our inner cavity to keep our vital organs from dying. Every fat mostly cellulose is pushed out and stored elsewhere in the body to keep us from dying prematurely. Since health is dependent on detoxification and nourishment, we need to find the best means to detox and nourish our system. Detoxification is best achieved by ionized, alkaline, micro-structured hexagonal water, which is able to easily penetrate our cells to deliver oxygen and nutrients while cleansing our cells on its way out. Without good water, not just any water, the cells are unable to easily receive nutrients and keep them clean. This results in excess tissue acid waste which is the root cause of pain and numerous diseases. It also deprives our cells of needed nutrients that cause nutritional deficiency diseases leading to untimely death. Your longevity depends on how well you take care of your cells since the cells are not supposed to die and you could live to over 100 years as is known in Japan and in many other cultures.

  • von Lamptey Cruickshank
    21,00 €

Poets almost always write about their own experiences, thoughts and feelings from their own particular perspectives. That perspective can be constant and thus become an affirmation of what they think and feel. But it also can change, for like all artists, a poet's work is also an exploration into his or her own psyche and the psyches of the people in their lives and around them. They understand that change, if we respect it and appreciate it and accept it, often means real growth. I Am the Poetry of Self Realization is a perfect example of this process. Although born into poverty, crime and discrimination, Lamp Cruickshank's intelligence and artistic sensibility remained intact. The poems in this collection show the spirit of not only will, but plain old-fashioned grit, the grit to overcome seemingly unbeatable odds that create disadvantage and succeed. Mr. Cruickshank's writing talent is obvious, his vocabulary original and always interesting and his ideas are thought provoking. He is a poet who not only has something to say, he is also a poet who possesses the words and intelligence to express it. His readers will be well-rewarded by this book and look forward to the many more that are to come.

While Chief Ed Charles works to uncover the Paige mysteries, FBI Special Agent Chuck Niles is busy with a case of his own. • - The Story of a Cajun Gunfighters Journey
    von John 'blue Bunch
    25,00 €

John could not believe the black hole that he was in. Wanted for murder, justifiable in his mind, but salacious in Sheriff Knapp's mind. Not only that, he had killed the most notorious renegade in Texas history; and praised for that killing by everyone. Why had he been the one to protect the innocent settlers in the wagon train? Confounded by those events about taking life was an understatement for John. A kid, just out of college looking to take over the family freighting business, marry the most beautiful women in the world and look at him now. Where did it all go wrong? He never wanted this. He never sought to be a murderer nor a hero. He just wanted to settle down with Nancy and start a family. What about his reputation. John had spent his whole life seriously guarding his reputation. Any southern gentlemen would. But that was now in tatters. Accused of murder, wanted posters hanging everywhere he went, and at the same time hailed as the pacifier of that villainous Apache raider, Sannd. John's internal conflict with the Catholic faith was tearing him apart too. 'Thou shall not kill'. John had done just that. John had to survive and find a single witness to clear his name. He had to survive and convince Nancy that he was not a wanton murderer of men. She had to be convinced that he was the man she admired the most and what had happened was all a mistake. But how? He could not write her, no one would carry the letters back to New Orleans. He wished he had never left home to come out west. What about John's family. What would they think of him. How would they feel when they heard he had taken a man's life? He had done it not once but twice! The family would be ridiculed in public by the lesser people in New Orleans. But it would sting nevertheless. Both Cajun and Creole sides of the family would be mortified at John's actions. Chatter behind their backs would hurt even more. Would the family business be affected? What of the history of his life. How would that be written? Was John destined to be the notorious Alvarado that the family tree tried to hide. That shameful branch of a wanton killer, who descended into hell for his deeds!John hated his life right now. How was he to survive? How would he retrieve what he had lost, how would he be remembered? How would his grandchildren, if he ever had any remember him? John's internal conflicts racked him unmercifully. He would never show it outwardly, but John suffered every day. He had to set things right. Right with himself and right with all around him. He was not a quitter. This was uncharted territory for him. He had to do it by himself. The only solace he could take is that this might be what his ancestor's might have gone through, and they survived.... Yes, that was it. How had they overcome similar circumstances? How had they survived? He tried to remember.

  • - Transforming the Nation Through Prayer
von Jr Cathers & Dr Robert
    16,00 €

America is the greatest country in the world, the land of opportunity. America is an amazing country, a country raised up by God for the nations to be a beacon of hope and light to the world. America's Founding Fathers came here seeking religious freedoms and a place to worship God. The United States of America is one nation under God. This country has a purpose. This country has a destiny that has been given to it by God. Anyone who lives here should be thankful and grateful to live in a land that God has raised up. Many years ago, I wrote a book called Seed Prayer, a workbook born out of my morning prayer meetings. We had thirty or forty people who would gather Monday through Sunday to pray. We would pray mostly in the Holy Spirit; however, I found that some people would lose focus over time and their prayers would begin to taper down. At that point, I would read scriptures to help regain focus, and their prayers would pick back up again. Simply explained, seed prayer is the praying and declaring of scriptures (planting seeds) and then the "watering" of that seed planted by praying in the Holy Spirit. Out of those meetings, I put together a series of scripture-based prayers, advice, and declarations. The more we prayed and declared these prayers and scriptures and watered them, the more powerful they became inside of us, manifesting tangible results in our lives, our finances, and our bodies. Based on these same principles, I put together prayers that we could declare over America. The prayers of many, and the voice of many, praying for our nation is effective and powerful. Watering the seeds planted by following these prayers and declarations with praying in the Holy Spirit is even more effective and powerful!

    von Perry Riff

He uses the Father's Touch Ministry to reach out to people struggling with unwanted same sex attraction and gender confusion. The Ministry faces opposition from the Gay Enforcers organization and other people opposed to seeing individuals reaffirming their biological gender identity and religious values. There have been incidences of harassment and violence. Members of the leadership are in hiding to protect their families, as other staff members are vulnerable to attack.
