While working at the college, Butch was afraid Buckwheat would bark and disturb the neighbors that fateful morning. After being a pastor, evangelist, missionary, teacher, and director of Bible Schools, I have some definite, clear opinions on doctrine in the local church and the individual believer. Any church body that rejects doctrine as the basis of fellowshipping is building a congregation on a foundation that will cause the local church body to crumble. Any church body that has no certain acceptable beliefs will shortly have deception and false doctrine as its daily companion. (Gal 5:9) A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Such is false doctrine. Any church body where the members do not have the defense of doctrinal truth will soon have false doctrine pervasive in their church. THE CHURCH MUST TEACH DOCTRINE (1Ti 4:13) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. (2Ti 3:16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2Ti 4:2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. OR EVERY MEMBER WILL ESTABLISH DOCTRINE IN THEIR OWNSELF. After a lifetime of over 60 years teaching the church, I have seen the result of failure to establish the church body, corporately and individually in doctrine. I present to you twenty-five doctrinal positions that I came to in my personal life. This is not all there are, but I had to stop somewhere. I will complete the list, God willing, if He grants me the time, for now this will suffice. In this book I both lay out what I came to as a settled place in God with each of these truths until there was no doubt, only a certainty as these scriptural truths and their dependability and spiritual anointing. I commend these points of belief to you. I believe them, so should you.

OUR STORY is a collection of first-person narratives by graduates of one of the most visionary and effective yet undocumented experiments in the history of secondary education in the English speaking Caribbean. The poetic prose of graduate Trevor Thomas highlights this shortcoming: "A brilliant meteor had streaked across the bleakness of Jamaica's education landscape, briefly illuminating its dark canopy, but attracted scant attention, and the remains were unceremoniously buried without headstone or epitaph."The observation of Prof. Emeritus, the Hon. Errol Miller, OJ, CD, Ph.D., DLL (Honoris Causa), an internationally recognized scholar on the subject, further emphasizes the sentiment in his exceptional Foreword: "Our Story recounts and reflects upon a unique chapter in the history of Jamaican secondary education told sixty-seven years after it began and sixty years after it ended by some students who assess its impact on their lives." Although OUR STORY focuses on the period 1954-1960, it directly references critical antecedents as well as pivotal outcomes from the period, especially in the area of Education Policy. The revolutionary role of the Hon. To my readersI served six years in the USMC. I was also an Electrical Contractor and currently, a blue collar maintenance electrician. While serving, I never saw action and for that I am grateful. I have so much compassion for those that have, and all our military, 1st responders, nurses, and police. I hope you enjoy my poems as much as I enjoy writing them. I write from my heart. It's the only way I know how.
The Father's Touch Ministry's entrance into Russia represented a great sacrifice on the part of its members. Learning a new language and adapting to the Russian culture demanded a lot of energy, patience, finances, and physical endurance. The staff members made every effort to avoid being perceived as puppets of the Russian government. They kept their focus on ministering to people willing to come to their center, and participating in the program of fellowship, Bible study and prayer. But at the same time, they had to look out for danger from the militant members of the LGBT community, as well as, the agents of the Gay Enforcers, a militant group from the United States. The novel describes the personal lives of the central characters, who had families to raise under stressful conditions. Some had been harassed, injured, and even killed by the agents of G&E. This kind of a ministry is not for cowards. But just the same, God sustains their faith!
