In 1979 Bill and Penny purchased a 38 ft sailboat. It took a year to get built and finally delivered. After sailing around the Southern California islands for a year, Penny suggested that they quit their jobs, take their sons JJ (15), and Dan (11) out of school and go sailing. And so, began a two-year adventure. Down the coast of Mexico, exploration of Cocos Island, several months in Costa Rica and Panama. One of the highlights was crossing the Panama Canal. After spending a short time in the western Caribbean, they returned to the Pacific side and after stopping at Cocos Island once more, headed for home. Spending time in a relatively confined space was not easy. The schooling was especially delicate. Fights and arguments were a nearly daily occurrence. However, each of us stood our required watches and could be counted on when tough conditions happened.

The Art of Dowsing: Separating Science from Superstition book is the first book ever written that comprehensively explains the physics involved in using the modern ball bearing dowsing rod with gauging by pitting gravity against the elemental magnetic flux lines of the dowsed for element or elemental mass. Her opinions will make you think more in-depth about why some issues are politicized and don't pass the smell test of reality.The authors has also shared insights in her opinions about some of her own personal life that many will find interesting and others will be able to relate too. This book is definitely for people who want to learn about different perspectives on various cultural issues.

He is tormented by the thoughts of his father's wishes for him. Wayne's father is a great and accomplished man Wayne loves and respects as a mentor. However, he is unable to please his father. It is written in the Bible that Andrew approached Jesus and asked Jesus to teach him. Jesus said, "e;Come with me, and we will change the world."e; That is all that Wayne wants, in some small way to change the world.

It was March of 2017, and I was about to close one of the biggest deals of my real estate career. This was a volatile deal. Writing this book has been a very fulfilling experience. The items you read will perhaps give you a reason to pause and reflect on different times in your past and things you have experienced. Reflections is the name of this book. I chose "e;reflections"e; for a specific reason. As you read this book, some items may give you reason to reflect back in time. Take your time as you read and think of times past. Life is a great teacher. At times, we need to look to our past to learn from our mistakes as well as the victories we have accomplished. We are never too old to learn, to listen before we speak, to forgive rather than judge, and to show compassion and understanding. As a wise man once told me, "e;You cannot go forward in life if you spend all your time looking back."e;I will leave you with this thought, "e;Reflect, learn, and live life to the fullest."e;

There are many ways to deal with the disappointments that people face from day to day. The giving-up stage is the easy part. The determination to succeed is the hard and sometimes scary part but will be worth the fight. Some people choose to shut down, give up, and hide themselves from others. From the beginning of time, people have been conditioned to keep going with the promise and reassurance of something better to come, thereby realizing that if you give up, you will never know what could have been. Therefore, getting up and trying to find a solution instead of accepting defeat at the benefit of others will make the rise from the fall worthwhile. Therefore, no matter how small or great the problem, a resolution must be acquired that you can live with and makes you happy. This book depicts the life of one person who, when all the odds seemed against her, dug down and fought harder to gain and contain her status by renewing her strength and keeping her faith in God. This books describes how every time she was knocked down, she picked herself up, brushed off the dirt, and persevered until she made her situation work for her. People will try to discourage someone from reaching a goal they have set for themselves. The worst of that is that they lose out on what they could have accomplished. But those people who were waiting for you to fail laugh will carry on to the next stage. The best way to deal with trials and tribulations is to know that they are to test you, not degrade you. They are to prepare you for what's to come with a reward that is far greater than you would or could ever imagine.

Writing these quotes late at night started out as something I would do when I couldn't sleep to help me cope with things I was going through. When I started to truly believe in my own words, I started to actually make the changes that made me a better, happier person. I hope you find my words motivational and inspiring in your own life. Dexter is a story about a rescued puppy that is brought into a new family and is trying to find his place and space. Dexter works hard to please his new brother, Reilly, and emulate him as much as possible, sometimes successfully, others not so. This story is meant to be a guide to all those children, adolescents (preteens/teens), and even young adults finding themselves in new situations and having to figure out how to fit and blend in. By viewing these situations through the eyes of a puppy, it may take away some of the fear, preconceived thoughts, and roadblocks that often delay or inhibit embracing new situations.
