Mama Said is filled with my experiences as a mother of three and the many lessons that I was taught during my very productive life's journey. Many unknown contributors sing out loud in the words of this book. Many extraordinary inspirations will be found when you read and take the lessons in. I believe a book must be written with divine intervention; this book is no exception. Buried within the many words of lessons learned, you will find many years of advisement from individuals who believed in seeking wisdom from sources greater than themselves. I believe that mama is our first glance at love. Those of you who were fortunate enough to experience a mother's love truly started your life's journey with a major jump start. This book was written by an author who did not know that jump start, but inspiration comes in variety, and the sources are many.Many years ago, I found that if you tap into the right source, all the missing pieces will fall into place; only ask and believe, and you will receive. I pray that I have given mothers the credit that they deserve because being a mom is an assignment that derives extraordinary dividends. Mama Said only scratches the surface of a lifetime assignment, one that many women and men accept and dedicate the time and energy necessary to keep moving forward with joy; yes, even when it is hard, there is joy. Great job, mothers, you are worthy to be applauded.

By acknowledging that, you are aware of the possibility of predatory pressures.It's better to acknowledge the threat and make an effort, rather than waiting until it becomes a problem. Much like taking care of the monthly payment, rather than waiting till the foreclosure process begins.Predator Awareness is about installing routinely practiced pro-active methods, rather than waiting to perform an occasional reactionary response.

This book is for the sole purpose of showing you that training is not so much about the how-tos of an exercise but much more about the why we have certain beliefs and, oftentimes, bodies to match those beliefs. Although this book talks in detail about the sport of bodybuilding and the training that goes along with it, there are parallels throughout that fit the everyday person who desires to make changes in his or her body. The Journal of a Poet: Roses and Ribbons is an account and reflection of high school days, thoughts, journal entries, poetry, essays, and short stories that I originally wrote to document my feelings and perspective on life at that moment in time. I have always enjoyed writing since an early age and have had diaries; however, they did not include much poetry. So I decided to write predominantly poetry in this journal that would repercuss my love for writing rhyme, free verse, sonnets, and even other avenues to express my zealous, hot-blooded, excited, or whimsical state!Though most of the entries are true, there are some fictional depictions in the book like about dating or going to the club. I was seventeen, but I was not allowed to date, furthermore, unable to go to a club of any sort. When I added these fabrications, it was just my imagination roaming free, wondering how these things would actually be like; would I enjoy them...I just calligraphically put myself there as if I was experiencing those things at that particular time.I titled the book The Journal of a Poet: Roses and Ribbons because my cousin Elizabeth Duncan gave me a journal for my birthday. This was in which I wrote in and held very dear to me because she knew I loved to write (and the cover of the journal happened to have rose petals and ribbons everywhere).I wanted to share this with the world. Though it is very personal, I think there is a lot to gain from the book. I hope you enjoy!

Seduced by the Dark Side as a book title required little brainstorming as it occurred to me shortly after my decision to write a book detailing my disastrous cyberspace adventure. This title describes my inner experience dramatically and accurately. From the time of its beginning on Saturday morning, October 16, at approximately 11:00 a.m. until Tuesday afternoon, February 8, my life was immersed in a seemingly blissful online relationship that had taken complete control of my thought process. The individual in whom I had confided with reassurances of faithfulness and loyalty turned out to be an unprincipled criminal eager to seize my financial assets greedily and mercilessly, and with no regard for me as a fellow human being.The two principal players were my soul mate, Jane Daley, referred to by her chat handle, Jane Love, and her alleged family attorney, Philip Smith, who supplied me with an array of pseudo-legal documents which provided a means of siphoning my personal funds for transfer into his personal account. Jane Love and Phil Smith gained my confidence and exploited my naivete to perfection. By the time I realized what had happened, it was too late to turn back. The die had been irretrievably cast.Emotion had trumped intelligence and common sense; however, now I acquired a renewed respect for doubting third parties. This life lesson was one that I learned the hard way. In the aftermath, I concluded that the best and most feasible way to confront this undeniable catastrophe and recover from it would be to retell said catastrophe to a wide audience. My aim would be twofold: recover lost assets and alert other prospective victims of cybercrime.

Always remember that some things in life are gonna catch fire. It is up to us to know when we have to avoid the fire, when we need to prevent it from occurring, and when we should ride the flames to success.
