Once upon a time, there was a family of rabbits who lived in a small meadow outside a big woods. In this family, there were three boys and three girls. They were always getting in trouble by getting dirty and messing up their clothes.

What seem like a series of coincidences eventually points to alien involvements. If there are beings from other planets, will they have things in common with human life? How will they communicate? Can they be good or evil? Are they smarter than humans? Do they even like humans? Is there an advantage to being friends with them? Grandpa Rex doesn't like change, but he has no choice but to accept it. His grandsons also have no choice. How would you handle life changing events caused by aliens from the planet Xeracik?

The Adventures of Eli and Jake begins with the boys moving to their new house and Buddy the Dog and Doolie the Cat making a new friend, Squeaky the Mouse. While having great fun with Buddy, Doolie, and Squeaky, the boys learn valuable lessons. Moving Day, Buddy Gets Lost, Grandma Moves In, Trick or Treat, and The Christmas Star will keep readers and their children entertained for hours. Readers will fall in love with the boys and their pets.

The title of my book is one of the poems entitled Life Is Too Short. I added "e;To Waste"e; to give the title a more significant meaning. People are getting killed every day at a very young age, and a fair number of people is dying of natural causes, and I am sure they have not accomplished their goals when they were killed. I have many pieces in this book, and I hope each and every piece will be comfort and enjoyment to my readers. This is my second poetry book, and each one of them I had motivation that helped me to complete them. Writing is a passion, but I really enjoy writing poetry. Thanks so much for reading my book, and I truly hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

"e;After Everybody Else Gave Up"e; provides an operational description of a supervised exercise training program in service since 1994 at a university in Texas. The trainers are undergraduate kinesiology students who have volunteered to provide special physical activities for individuals who have various degrees of weakness or paralysis from injury or disease. Having successfully completed studies in anatomy, exercise physiology, motor learning, adaptive and corrective exercise, therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation, and others, these students choose to volunteer for an Applied Learning Experience in the Laboratory for Wellness and Motor Behavior. During the three-hundred-hour experience, the team develops and supervises adaptive movement activities. New trainers arrive each semester to continue the activities and the progress in wellness and motor behavior. The subjects in training include spinal cord injuries, stroke survivors, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, and other neuro-muscular disabilities. They represent students, faculty, staff, or members of the community who have typically been released from conventional health care following injury or disease. With little help and hope, the team approach at the university is significant to both the trainers and the subjects. The book provides perspectives from the developer, the trainers, the subjects, faculty, a hospital administrator, and a participating physician. Trainers describe a valuable hands-on, culminating experience and participants report improved wellness, decreased use of prescription drugs, and increased energy for daily living. This so-called Team KinesiologySM is replicable with millions of individuals standing to benefit from this extended health care.

To know me is to read about what I've written. I'm woven through out every word, every sentence. It shows the kind of person you're dealing with-the content of my character. I have a strong sense of belief that he who has nothing to hide hide's nothing; and in order to grow, you have to learn. I also believe that there are rules in life that have to be followed and if not . . . there will be consequences to every action-good or bad. So pay close attention to lesson that life gives.

The Whiskey Bottle Conversation by David Leonard is a history lesson taught through the dialogue between father and son on a snowy weekend. While warmth, compassion, and caring between two men are demonstrating throughout this book, the story line is fascinating as Dick tells of his experiences growing up in small-town America and his adventures as he goes off to fight in World War II. This book is a delight. It allows the reader to see a much different world than the one we know today.
