    J. J. Jackson is an unscrupulous owner of an earthmoving construction company. It is hard times for such companies in Colorado in 1988. He drinks too much and has money problems. He cheats on his wife, who he hates him and is involved with a self-proclaimed environmental crusader. But he has a grand plan for solving his problems. There is a high-tech materials research company, Basin Technology, that is being decimated by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment due to contamination allegedly from an underground waste oil that had been recently removed. He knows the case against Basin Technology is fraudulent, and J. J. Jackson will profit handsomely if he can prove it. To do that, he needs to find someone clever enough to figure out how the fake spill was created and prove it. He hires Bill Andrews, a mining engineer who has previously caught J. J. Jackson doing sneaky stuff. He is a man he knows has the technical know-how along with a knack of spotting fraud. He also knows Bill Andrews is going through hard times. Bill Andrews takes the job reluctantly, assuming it will be quick and dirty review of the data accumulated by J. J. Jackson. Instead, he was soon in over his head as he uncovers a high-tech industrial hijinks involving revenge, political corruption, greed, violence, deception, betrayal, and murder, leading to a deadly confrontation near a rock formation called Devil's Knob.

Live Life Now (Not Later) The Life Recipe is a book of discovery and awareness as unique individuals who carry our own blueprints to our own health. The Life Recipe is a step-wise list of ingredients that will help us to reconnect to our own body so that we become aware of our energy in our body. We all have the ingredients inside us to maintain balance and health but with all the mixed messages that are received by the media, doctors, and other outside influences then our natural ingredients become murky and our end-result does not get nurtured to a delicious creation. This life recipe guides us how to effectively combine and knead our ingredients so we can create the best product possible - a healthier mindset and lifestyle. Once we open the door to self-awareness and realign ourselves with our consciousness then we begin to recognize our value and our own individual needs. We are only given one body and we have the ingredients to maintain our bodies by listening to the ways it reacts. By embracing our bodies and becoming more aware of ourselves we choose to stay in the present and LIVE LIFE NOW, not later.

You may be a seeker or doubter. You may know very little about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. But if you want to know God, that's all that matters. He's been trying to get our attention. This book hasn't fallen into the wrong hands. Yes, it was intended for you, not someone else. Just trust in God. Fill up on the Word of God. It's called the renewing of your mind. According to Thy Word in Romans 12:2, it allows the anointing to transform the way you think. It will change your mind and will stir up inside you. What will you choose-to let the Good Shepherd find you or continue in the illusion that you don't need to surrender to anyone? According to Thy Word in Matthew 18:3, Jesus tells us that unless we find a way to recapture our innocence, we will find it hard to enter his Kingdom. Just trust in God, and He will do the wonders in your life. If you can trust a pilot you haven't seen and let him take you off down the runway and into the air without fear or no thought of harm, you can put your trust in God. So get you a word of wisdom and start living according to Thy Word.

This story was an idea that started years ago when my twin boys spent the summer with their grandmother in North Carolina. Listening to their stories and adding my adventures in Chicago, I came up with the story of a young boy raised by a single parent as my brother and I were. With gangs very prominent in our lives, we were shipped off to Michigan. Combining all this, I created my composite of Bobby. As for Gus, he was created to be a catalysis to provide Bobby with a path, and being a goose, he would be the most unusual messenger.

Ms. Djurdjev wrote her book to give support and encouragement to those who unwillingly relinquished their talents and journey to someone else. To those who see themselves in her story, she sends ideas and encouragement and perhaps the sense of urgency for them to call upon their courage, create a plan, and reclaim their journey through life. She reminds us that there are no do-overs in life; it is obligatory to seek joy while living it. While in leadership roles, Ms. Djurdjev realized, like her, others have a need for ideas and guidance to find ways to reclaim their talents, which would enable them to create their own special journey through life.
