This is collection of transcreations of poems of many Indian poets. Some original poems of poet were also presented. The illustrations presented give scope for thinking and also makes the reading more joyful. The poems are on many areas including nature, creatures, politics, phylosophy and spituality. Some of the poems even look chidish. No doubt any reader finds some interesting content in this because it is so broad in nature and so simple in presentation.

The independence of India with its cursed partition lies at the background of the novel. The book is a family story of Sushila, a forced migrant from erstwhile East Pakistan. The shocking declaration of partition at once made them alien to their motherland. The eight-membered family, forced by circumstances to leave behind rich property, set out for India penniless. Sushila's father-in-law died on the way. That stunning blow brought her back to her past life under the guidance of her father-in-law, whose tremendous personality she tried to present, reminiscing past incidents. The contemporary social milieu and the educational system in erstwhile East Pakistan are presented through the bringing up and education of Nirbed, Sushila's elder son. The ineffable hardship and struggle of the family and finally their survival at the cost of a number of deaths that the family faced deserve praise, but Sushila was then beyond all acclaims.

Where Is Peter and Other Stories is a collection of mystery short stories revolving around the characters of the DeCosta family. Although each story has a standalone plotline, the reader will be left pleasantly surprised by the reappearance of the characters they met in earlier stories. Devoid of any thematic connection or a chronological order, the stories provide snippets of the lives of various members of the DeCosta family slowly forming a family portrait. Each story in the collection takes the reader by surprise by unpredictability of events and outcomes. In one of them, a family get-together fails to take off due to the absence of a family member who never arrives. In another, a cat, privy to the goings-on of the family of its benefactor, constantly feels the presence of the benefactor many years after it saw him brought to the house in a hearse. The reader will heave a sigh of relief, following a stab of horror, when Mary realizes that the woman she sees at the theatre is not the same woman she is running away from.

Anima mea (or 'My Soul' in English) is a collection of poetry that was written by me spanning the six most moulding years of my life. I was born on 15th August 1966 in a humble family in a small town of Dehradun India. Having parents from diverse religious background lent a cosmopolitan culture within the family. Parents were employed in essential services with variable working hours which required adjustment from all family members. Conscious adjustments created space to muse and observe. Life became a process in the initial years itself. The journey within, lent tenacity of mind, yet the sensitivity of a child seeking outlet from the complexities of social fabric, ran parallel. Wondered how people discover reasons to squabble over trivial things while we hardly have time to share amongst loves ones. Personal views hardly mattered. As the society outpaced me, I tried to outgrow it alongwith its rudimentary beliefs. Maneuvering through childhood, I discovered some profound friends who are there since. Pride of my life, they shape my belief in humanity, over & above caste, creed or religions. The innate desire to share pains, concerns, take up social causes opened an avenue for taking hands-on healing, driving me to leave the bank. Sharing helped to relate, observe, feel, write and express what is more of human, and lesser of beliefs, in search of finding a God beyond religions.
