Michela Vandemere Whimple is a woman whose mother insisted she be perfect in whatever undertaken she took on. When her newborn child, Wendy, is born with some deformity, she gives her up. A loving relative takes Wendy in and soon discovers she is no ordinary child. Growing up she starts to manifest a unique healing power with animals. When the Pullo brothers move in the neighborhood, they are in direct conflict with Wendy's love of nature and her healing power. One day during a hunting accident, one of the Pullo brothers loses the sight in one eye. Distraught, he begs Wendy to heal his eye. Wendy's attempt fails, and it's soon discovered she can only heal animals. Angry, the Pullo brothers trap Wendy in the woods to frighten her by performing a mock crucifixion. After causing her some pain, the Guardian of Affliction appears in her behalf frightening the offenders away. Wendy soon finds the Guardian of Affliction will remove one gift from her and give her another. Wendy is confused by the Guardian's words until an extraordinary miracle changes her life.

205 Thoughts from the Heart of a Man, is a collection of poetry for encouragement and guidance from a Mans prospective. The content of this book is from the brokenness of a man who has accepted his mistakes and successes. In our quest for peace, a person wants to be sure that there is hope. Suffering will come to us all but we must endure till the end. Since I'm open about loving me for who I am and not for what I'm worth then I have succeeded in expressing the feelings of most of my audience. Therefore expressing my thoughts openly to my audience I gain joy in knowing that others actually feel the way that I do about life. Some may be afraid that others might judge them for saying what's on their heart. When you read my poetry keep in mind I have opened my heart up to you the reader. Make no mistake of my motive. My sole purpose is to be transparent so that others can see they're not alone. Remember, I have fallen several times as we all do- but I will get back up so others may learn from my love to preserve. Love is the core of the book, that's why I exist. Enjoy with hope and thanksgiving. Love and blessings to you Sincerely. Alan Alston Sr.

His, Hers and Theirs is based on a true story about two families dealing with love, losing loved ones and finding new love. It tells of feelings-heartaches, tears, and deep sadness, abandonment and exercise of faith. It is moreover concerned with children and the healing of their wounds and the hearts of all.As faith would have it, members of both families found themselves without the love of a wife or husband and mother or father. Some of their experiences were the same and yet others were quite different. Still each felt a sense of great emptiness and loneliness. At first, those feelings were devastating, but then one day, they found each other and their lives were never the same.In the book, you will read the story of how Callie and Columbas, the head of these two families, met and got married and blended their two families into one unit. It was not an easy task, but through perseverance, they eventually achieved their goal of becoming one big happy family. You will further be given a chance to read a little history of their fourteen children.
