Legend says this group started years ago at some nameless writer's conference. A handful of aspiring Young Adult Sci-Fi/Fantasy authors sat around a lunch table chatting about their writing hopes and dreams. One turned to the others and said, "Want to start a writer's group?" And the Ravenquills were born. Over the years this group has grown and changed, and with each new writer new inspiration is born. The Ravenquills are a band of women who love and are fiercely devoted to their craft. They lift one another through weekly meetings and chapter critiques. They aren't afraid to ask questions or muse about the number of firearms a woman could possibly hide on her person while running for her life from a giant moth creature on a swamp planet.
