Jon Tucker was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 6, 1966 and was raised in Haskell, Oklahoma, where he resides today with his wife, Brenda, and their daughter, Gabrielle. He is currently employed as shift leader in the paper industry by Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Jenks, Oklahoma. His wife is a lifelong teacher and coach, while their daughter plays basketball under her mom and maintains high academic standards.

Since 2002, I have been traveling to the nations of Haiti on missionary and humanitarian missions serving especially the children of Haiti. I wrote this book in 2008 and publication was completed in 2010. My efforts has proven to be "for such a time as this" considering the events that has since transpired in Haiti.
