What happens when we no longer die? Do we ever go to a paradise? Returning to Eden is a story of what humankind needs to do when it achieves immortality in this existence. It will be at least 250 years before humankind achieves immortality. Preparing for that eventuality will be difficult. The book addresses not only the scientific advancements required for immortality but also religion, social mores and folkways, economic science, educational methods, political science, resources requirements, and other factors affected by humankind's achievement. The story takes place 100 years in the future, when technical advancements provide a means for communication using artificial intelligence devices augmenting university professors lecturing from different locations on Earth and Moon for a universal symposium. Unfortunately, for humankind, even 100 years in the future, people will still be engaged in hostile conflicts. These conflicts continually interrupt the symposium, and it takes the efforts of government and university security personnel to resolve the situation. How they do it is futuristic and not simple.

This book draws parallels of our human lifespan to that of the weather seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. The author assumes our useful years to be eighty. He divides these years, equally, in the four seasons, each being twenty years. Spring is viewed to be promissory; in summer we become responsible adults. Autumn, like in the life of plants, is the fall of leaves, hence we start shedding our youth glow. In our winter years we are collected in character, as we pass on what we learned.

How this is done, in this realm, in our Universe is explored: the ego Universe, the Fields of Light, the Sacred Body Factories, the manifestations inhabited by the soul aspect(s) and how appear here, and how related to here are all explored. This nonfiction work could be called a work of Spiritual Evolution, of one kind of Spiritual Evolution - which begins with that feeling of being separate from Divine Love called ego, with development of identification with this ego-I and then the many ways that the Feeling of Divine Love once again becomes Felt by the ego-I. The means whereby this becomes possible, this FEELING again the Divine Love from which we egos have become unconscious, and profoundly separated, are explored in this work. Ultimately it is the evolution of the Soul, via its thousands of soul aspects exploring the many realms of existence, which is of interest here. Each soul aspect is an offering lovingly given over to Divine Creation for exploration - and these soul aspects inhabit the manifestations, giving Life to these manifestations so that Evolution of the Soul can occur. And yet, there are Life Forms which Evolve in Our Universes who do not have a Soul, and hence no soul aspects are needed for their Evolution….They Are already WholeBodily Love and Its Expression. But OUR Evolution Our Human, Animal, Plant, Mineral Evolution - Earth HerSelf, we all rely upon our soul aspects for our evolution to occur… Hopefully, Evolution of WholeBodily Love to occur. Each day, the safety and well-being of some children across the Nations are threatened by child abuse and neglect. Intervening off actively in the lives of these children and their families are not the sole responsibility of any single agency or professional group, but rather is a shared community concern. Since the late 1970s, the Child Abuse and Neglect User Manual Series have provided guidance on child protection to hundreds of thousands of multidisciplinary professionals and concerned community members. The User Manual Series provides a foundation for understanding child maltreatment and the roles and responsibilities of various practitioners in its prevention, identification, investigation, assessment, and treatment. Through the years, the manuals have served as valuable resources for building knowledge, promoting effective practices, and enhancing community collaboration. Since the last update of the User Manual Series in the early 1990s, a number of changes have occurred that dramatically affect each community's response to child maltreatment. The changing landscape reflects increased recognition of the complexity of issues facing parents and their children, new legislation, practice innovations, and system reform efforts. Significant advances in research have helped shape new directions for interventions, while on-going evaluations help us to know what works.
In the preface to Rushing to Sunset, the author says, "This isn't a book about aging, but it could be. I'm anxious about the aging thing... My fear is feeling and acting old..." She goes on to describe two extreme physical and mental challenges she undertook at different times in her life - one when she was young and the other when she was older but felt young. She was twenty-six years old when she agreed to accompany a medical student on a 30-day trek to the Base Camp at Mt. Everest, with no training or hiking experience. The Grand Canyon experience happened because she was ready for the chance to prove that she wasn't too old for an adrenalin-driven adventure, that her body could still work for her. While the settings were different, the result was the same: the author accomplished something that made her feel incredibly strong and good. She felt wonder and amazement at the ability of her body to endure extreme challenges at both a young and an old age. In that respect, the book could be about aging after all.

I jumped up and hurried to the door, only to find a young man and a small girl curled under his arm, asking-no, pleading to use my phone. I step to one side and let them enter-no questions asked. As the young man walks by me, he whispers so the little girls can't hear. "I think my wife has been murdered".
