"Overcast" is a collection of verse written about a middle class family in a 20th century industrial American city. Many of the pieces are narrative, centered on the life of the author's sister whose cloistered life was turned upside down by immersion in Japanese culture. This book will carefully examine each dispensation, covenant and sign and discuss the role that each plays in the eternal plan of God. It is believed that this is the first book to discuss dispensations and covenants as a unified topic. The set of eight signs given to man also appear to be defined in this book for the first time.
