1776: Gifts from the American Revolution is an illuminating yet condensed history of The United States of America starting with the Puritan's arrival in 1620 at Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts. As well as covering our Revolution and the creation of the Constitution the book also devotes separate chapters to Blacks and slavery, and to Native Americans and their Trail of Tears across the continent. As well, Hispanics, who also have not had it easy, were here in the Southwest before 1620 and are covered in another chapter. History is not history if it cherry picks and ignores the bad and Uncle Sam has had his share of it.Later chapters build on the achievements of the Revolution by covering diverse but related topics such as; Politics today; Faith; Religions; World Wars, Debt, the infamous 'summer of love, and the COVID-19 Pandemic. Chapter 21 on Faith is the author's attempt to clarify and strengthen his faith by developing an explanation of how Evolution and Creation are the same. Reading and parsing the Bible, the world's most important book, can become difficult and controversial as this approach reveals.Section 5 is devoted to Energy and Climate in 6 chapters. The focus in this section is about the expensive and unnecessary policy of forcing renewals by government actions to eliminate fossil fuels. The consequences to our nation from the abject failure to consider what it will take to make that transition are bared for all to read. The book concludes with some gnarly bits called Gems and Nuggets in Chapter 38. These are simply earthy statements of obvious truths intended to galvanize thought. Often complicated subjects grow into swamp like morasses. Problems become more soluble when made simple.Chapter 39 is a one page admonition aimed at young people that, if followed, provides some pithy but important keys to success.

An Awakening at Nain is filled with wonderful bible stories of Jesus healing countless numbers of people He encountered in his short life and ministry. This author often wondered what happened to some of these people, what did they do? What did the man whose withered hand was healed do after his healing? What kind of new future did the Samaritan woman who had a bleeding problem after Jesus healed her? The Gospels have recorded thirty-seven miracles performed by Jesus so what were their stories after their healings? Over the years there have been authors who have had these same questions wishing there could've been an additional book in the Bible with "Where are they now stories" of those healed. This small fictional historic novella explores one fascinating possibility.

The Story For All Seasons dictates before the days of the remote control, which is a term no longer used in today's high-tech jargon, we, as Americans, had to suffer through the infant stages of modern electronics, such as if we didn't have children, we had to get up from the recliner to change the TV channel; when we entered the driveway, we had to get out of the car to raise the garage door; then-the "biggie"-when the phone rang, we would call out, "Would someone get the phone call!" That phone back then was tethered to its base, which was plugged into the wall receptacles, known as a "phone jack". Using this analogy and spiritually speaking, our holidays have lost their true foundational roots. Even the true meaning of the word holiday has been lost from its intended term holy day. The holy days are divided into the four seasons of the year. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter contain the holy days we celebrate and their true meaning, which have suffered over the years. Most of these short stories are taken are from biblical accounts that had been labored at great lengths with the Holy Spirits to bring to you the reader these "true-life-fictional" accounts-accounts that are timeless biblically and can be reviewed over and over again by faith builders.

The Tragedy at Cambria, a three-act play written in rhyming iambic pentameter, tells a story of love, deception, and power. In the medieval kingdom of Cambria, aging King John faces a grave decision. His forebearers created extremely strict laws regarding unwed pregnancy, and now a sixteen-year-old girl, Plain Jane, is guilty of being with child. Either Jane or the baby must die. At Queen Beatrice's urging, King John assigns their teenage son and only heir, their beloved Prince Scott, to determine Jane's fate as a test of his maturity, but what should be a simple task becomes complicated when the compassionate prince attempts various schemes to try to save both mother and child. As his plans go awry, the prince sinks into deep despair, and his odds for ascending the throne wane. But Jane isn't the only Cambrian who's been breaking morality laws. As infidelities are revealed that directly affect his family, King John must reconcile his knowledge with his position of power in order to save the future of his kingdom.Behold a land where ancient statutes rule,Where laws that once served well have since waxed cruel,Where lovers are confined to marriage bed,And babies got by those who are unwedAre oftentimes forsaken-or born dead. What good can come from such a place as this?Where citizens can see what is amissBut turn their heads pretending all is well?A child, a bastard child, I do foretell- But not before our king knows royal hell. ~ Soothsayer
