100 YEARS OF INSULIN

The book celebrates the centenary of the discovery of insulin and traces the developments in the types of insulin preparations used by patients with diabetes today. It is written for the lay public and presents the drama of the discovery including humorous and personal accounts of the many colourful characters in the insulin story.
