After four hard years of wartime hell, Lieutenant Caleb Parker returns home like so many others from both the North and South. War-torn, weary and aged beyond his years, he wished only to start a new life and to practice law as an attorney. This was not to be as he was drafted into a new war. This war was against injustice, greed for power, money and against the evil of man. Some things never change.
