A Dictionary of the Mahratta Language

First published in 1810, this is a dictionary of the Indo-Aryan language Marathi. Containing over 9,500 entries in Devanagari script with English translations, it is methodical and concise, with condensed meanings and labelling of the parts of speech. The author's 1805 grammar of Marathi is also reissued in this series.
