Agricultural Developments in North Carolina, 1783-1860

In the introduction of new farming implements alone, this period witnessed revolutionary changes in which North Carolina had a significant part. To note the developments of this nature, rather than to record the history of the state's agriculture in this period, has been the principal aim of this study.
