Airport security and safety officer

The aim of security is to avoid deliberate actions that could cause harm to people or property. Security measures are particularly important at airports. They include the control of passengers and their baggage at check-in and boarding, as well as the monitoring of movements in terminals and on runways, in the vicinity of aircraft. These include metal detectors, body scanners, security palpations, body searches, X-rays and explosive trace and vapour detectors. Before boarding a plane, at the airport of departure, you must: check in your baggage, obtain your boarding pass and pass through security checks.
