The busy days were finally behind Merett. Hibernation months officially found their spot on the calendar, as the pandemic settled in to observe the banality of life, adding a touch of rest and sleep. Guarded by her thoughts, their strident voices arresting her attention, she felt the beckoning call of the white house after 35 years ¿ the once-tattered canvas of intersecting and intertwined lives, imbued with the essence of the past, present, and future. Set in the sleepy town of Nadao, the stream of unpredictable mien flowed against a belief system that embraced those who had come and gone. As Merett remained suspended, she had more time to witness its course until it was time for her to soar the skies once again.
