Über American Air Rescue
Air rescue is a modern technological advancement that delivers power and flexibility to incredibley difficult tasks!
Since around 400 BC, Chinese children have played with bamboo flying toys. It was not until the early 1480s, when Italian polymath Leonardo da Vinci created a design for an "aerial screw", but In 1942, the Sikorsky R-4 became the first helicopter to reach full-scale production. Fixed wing aircraft are also used as ambulances and fire fighting vehicles.
Today, rescue vehicles are technologically highly developed with specialized equipment and specially trained paramedics to keep people alive until they can get care at a hospital.
We honor all service members on Memorial Day (last Monday of May) and hope you will enjoy our selection of photos.
