In an isolated part of England, lonely teenagers Alex and Christa forge a passionate relationship. Their home lives are painful, their parents abusive or negligent, but a mysterious group of outsiders is watching over them. What do these strangers want? Why are they convinced that the darkness within Christa is the key to the fate of the world?
