Stuck in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by absolutely nothing. Thirteen-year-old Gillian Campbell, uprooted from the city and the only life she had ever known, didn't think things could get any worse. And then they did. She and her best friend, Jessica, realize that the Campbells aren't the only inhabitants of their new home. They are sharing their quarters with a ghost who feels that Gillian and her family are the interlopers. The girls must find a way to free the earth-bound spirit without involving the adults, who will surely never believe them.
