Astral

Astral is not the usual mystery. It might be called soft urban fantasy/mystery, with elements of the paranormal and some physics thrown into the mix. Set in the Pacific Northwest, Astral introduces Seattle Detective Jack Darvesh Doyle, who has the unusual murder of a top-level leader from a Triad thrust upon him. In the strangest case of his career, Doyle is dumbfounded as more gang members fall dead. No witnesses see a thing and no clues are left behind. Into the puzzle steps an exotic Lebanese woman, Zaina Khoury, who claims to have psychic knowledge of the killings, but her intrusion only deepens the mystery.
