Linguistic specialist, Dr. Rachel Evans would do anything to get a promotion. That includes traipsing through an uncharted jungle with the man she hates more than any human on the planet - her boss.

Years of working for Donald Rumsinger has convinced Rachel that she can handle anything-anything but being sacrificed by the natives to ward off a fierce sex god named Eros. A girl has to draw the line somewhere.

The only thing keeping Eros, King of the Atlanteans from giving up hope of saving his people is the prophecy foretelling the Arrival of his destined mate. Now that he's found Rachel, he intends to keep her.

Rachel isn't anyone's Queen and she's certainly not a savior, but a few sultry nights spent in Eros's loving arms just might change her mind. When she's 'rescued' by her boss, he offers Rachel a deal: Give him credit for discovering the Atlanteans and he'll ensure that she gets the promotion she's always wanted. All she has to do to make her dream come true is betray Eros.
