This research aims to delve into the conflictive relations between the Government of Gabriel Gonzalez Videla, the Communist Party, the Coal Companies and the Mining Unions during the 1947 strike in Lota and Coronel. Subsequently, special emphasis will be placed on the State of Siege that Lota and Coronel suffered under the Armed Forces and how it affected the workers' movement and its sympathizers through the imposition of a system of rules restricting their political and civic rights. In this sense, the disparity of perspectives between the inhabitants of both cities about militarization and the type of coexistence, resistance and adaptation to the circumstances that were generated at the time will be distinguished.

Cette recherche vise à approfondir les relations conflictuelles entre le gouvernement de Gabriel González Videla, le parti communiste, les entreprises charbonnières et les syndicats de mineurs lors de la grève de 1947 à Lota et Coronel. Par la suite, l'accent sera mis sur l'état de siège que Lota et Coronel ont subi sous les forces armées et sur la manière dont il a affecté le mouvement ouvrier et ses sympathisants par l'imposition d'un système de règles restreignant leurs droits politiques et civiques. En ce sens, il mettra en évidence la disparité des perspectives entre les habitants des deux villes concernant la militarisation et le type de coexistence, de résistance et d'adaptation aux circonstances qui ont été générées à l'époque.

Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die konfliktreichen Beziehungen zwischen der Regierung von Gabriel González Videla, der Kommunistischen Partei, den Kohleunternehmen und den Bergarbeitergewerkschaften während des Streiks von 1947 in Lota und Coronel zu erforschen. Anschließend wird ein besonderes Augenmerk auf den Belagerungszustand gelegt, unter dem Lota und Coronel unter den Streitkräften litten, und wie sich dies auf die Arbeiterbewegung und ihre Sympathisanten auswirkte, indem ein System von Vorschriften eingeführt wurde, das ihre politischen und staatsbürgerlichen Rechte einschränkte. In diesem Sinne werden die unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen der Einwohner der beiden Städte in Bezug auf die Militarisierung und die Art des Zusammenlebens, des Widerstands und der Anpassung an die damaligen Umstände herausgearbeitet.

Questa ricerca si propone di approfondire le relazioni conflittuali tra il governo di Gabriel González Videla, il Partito Comunista, le compagnie carbonifere e i sindacati dei minatori durante lo sciopero del 1947 a Lota e Coronel. Successivamente, si porrà l'accento sullo stato di assedio che Lota e Coronel subirono sotto le Forze Armate e su come questo influì sul movimento operaio e sui suoi simpatizzanti attraverso l'imposizione di un sistema di regole che limitavano i loro diritti politici e civili. In questo senso, si distinguerà la disparità di prospettive tra gli abitanti delle due città riguardo alla militarizzazione e al tipo di coesistenza, resistenza e adattamento alle circostanze che si generarono all'epoca.

Esta investigação tem como objetivo aprofundar as relações conflituosas entre o governo de Gabriel González Videla, o Partido Comunista, as empresas carboníferas e os sindicatos mineiros durante a greve de 1947 em Lota e Coronel. Posteriormente, será dada especial ênfase ao estado de sítio que Lota e Coronel sofreram sob o domínio das Forças Armadas e à forma como este afectou o movimento operário e os seus simpatizantes através da imposição de um sistema de regras restritivas dos seus direitos políticos e cívicos. Neste sentido, distinguir-se-á a disparidade de perspectivas entre os habitantes de ambas as cidades sobre a militarização e o tipo de convivência, resistência e adaptação às circunstâncias que se geraram na época.
