Bladder cancer is a common disease and manifests itself in two forms: low-grade superficial tumor and high-grade invasive neoplasia. A prospective longitudinal descriptive observational study was conducted in the Urology Department of the Arnaldo Milían Castro Hospital from October 2019 to October 2023. The study population consisted of all patients (242) diagnosed with this disease. Bladder cancer affects people older than 70 years of age, male, retired, white, with a family history of bladder cancer. Hematuria was the main symptom and smoking was a risk factor for its presentation. Bilateral hydronephrosis was observed when face, neck and both sides were affected.
