Über Beneath the Surface-MX-02
Fans of suspense and conspiracy-theme genres will devour Gary Radman's novel, Beneath the Surface - MX-02 in one sitting. Set in the 1960s when modern technology was just surfacing among government entities, the story is rich with the unexplainable, undercover schemes and a plotline that expertly weaves the ordinary with the extraordinary.
Mark Banta has a family, a secure job, and a good life. Mark's company liaised with the government on a regular basis, so Mark was accustomed to seeing their official white car parked in the company lot.
Mark goes to work one morning on what he believes will be just another day until his boss tells him he's being terminated. As he leaves, he notices several government cars in the lot and, then on the evening news, notices an increase in bank robberies and officials having a tough time handling the crimes. He comes up with a startling revelation-could the crimes be linked to the questionable mortgage contracts that were popping up among his colleagues.
Mark assembles a team of "special" agents to take on what could be a cover-up of unbelievable proportions. What follows involves robberies, murder, and kidnapping -- and Mark is soon in over his head. Who can he trust and why does he keep seeing an official white car at every corner?
Beneath the Surface - MX-02 brings the element of surprise to a whole new level and doesn't let up until the final chapter.
