Bilateral Human-Technology Relationship

Generally, it has been thought that the technologies that Man has used throughout the history of mankind, are only tools to achieve a purpose and nothing more, but it has been shown that this is not really so. Man and Technology merge into a whole. The technologies that Man has used throughout his existence have influenced his social and cultural environment, his way of thinking, acting and valuing. It is also thought that the process of knowing never acts independently of the medium, the tool or the technology used; it is even said that the latter conditions and influences the way in which a certain type of knowledge is reasoned or conceived.
