Black Crows and Cardinals

The Pope is dead... At first everyone in the Vatican believes he died of natural causes, but Cardinal Paolo Foscari isn't so sure. Who is the old priest who lives in the attic flat above the Pope's apartment and what is the true identity of the nun who served the Pope his coffee on the morning that he died?
His suspicions aroused, Foscari quickly discovers a plot by organized crime and sinister forces within the Church to manipulate the forthcoming papal election and install their own candidate as the new Pope. But it is only when Foscari gets to speak with the old Irish priest called Father Donnelly that the full horror of what is about to unfold is finally revealed. Donnelly suggests a possible solution but it is one fraught with danger. Cardinal Foscari is to travel to England and meet up with a mysterious woman called Sterling. She alone is the only person capable of providing him with all the back-up and assistance he will need in order to accomplish his task... And what happens next is the stuff of nightmares...!!!
