Originally published in 1844, this was the first major work by Samuel Prideaux Tregelles, who went on to edit the complete Greek New Testament from ancient sources. His Greek edition of Revelation, with critical apparatus, historical notes and English translation, marked a turning point in nineteenth-century Biblical scholarship.
