Briar's Tale

Briar's Tale mixes down-home mountain humor with tales of coming of age in rural Owsley County, Kentucky. It explores the unique relationship between an avid outdoorsman and his bird dogs, hunting companions and the natural world.
Along the way, it explores ethical hunting practices and environmental education as well as how a dog and his master face the inevitable challenges of aging.
