Whereas before, governance implied statesmanship, nowadays, the term encompasses the non-profit and private sectors, and is used as an alternative to ¿government action¿. In an attempt to better compare and contrast between different (and somewhat vague) explanations, there is a list, from which the most relevant keywords were extracted. It was also possible to create a ¿word cloud¿ of associated terms; this tool is commonly used to visualise text data and is useful in exploratory search tasks. Our impression of the literature and reports related to this term is that the authors tend to generalise and are inclined towards giving either a state-centric or a society-centric definition of ¿governance¿. In trying to define the terminology, studies, and reports comply in that ¿governance¿ is ¿a process¿ or ¿method¿ of ¿controlling¿, ¿states¿, ¿society¿, ¿citizens¿ and ¿organizations¿. It was observed that political unions or institutions (such as the European Commission and EU agencies) tend to emphasise the political aspects of governance, whereas others (such as the World Bank) focus more on the societal and economic aspects, thus giving a more generic explanation. There seem to be instances where definitions of the term are ¿built¿ or ¿tweaked¿ purposefully and subsequently agreed upon, for example, during the opening stages of national and global fora. Supposedly, this is done to establish common ground among all the parties before discussions ensue. We believe that the most relevant definition of this structure should encompass the way citizens choose to run society and imply that governance is broader than government. It should also reflect the management of a process. We feel that the explanation recently stated by the World Bank comes closest to our view ¿ the process through which state and non-state actors interact to design and implement policies within a given set of formal and informal rules that shape and are shaped by power.

The Eucalyptus genus is increasingly being used in the wood manufacturing industry, particularly in higher value-added products such as furniture and flooring. However, this raw material requires slow drying, which implies an increase in the cost of the process, proportional to the length of time the wood remains in the dryer. Combining natural drying with conventional drying has been indicated as an alternative to reduce the duration of the artificial process; this hypothesis was evaluated in this study for 40 mm thick Eucalyptus grandis wood. The characteristic drying curve for the material and the basic program for conventional drying were determined in the laboratory. It was proved that conventional drying is slow and that the transition from air drying to artificial drying should be made when the moisture content of the wood is between 35% and 40%. Next, a 60 m³ load of wood was dried on an industrial scale, combining air drying with subsequent conventional drying.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the zootechnical performance, quality and fatty acid profile of eggs from commercial layers fed diets containing 2% of two lipid sources (linseed and soy) and a combination of the two. The experimental procedure involved 194 commercial layers aged 129 weeks, divided into 5 cycles of 28 days, during which data was collected for the study. The statistical design was entirely randomized, with 6 treatments, the experimental unit being represented by a plot with 8 birds and 4 repetitions per treatment. The treatments consisted of a control diet (no vegetable oil) and diets including 2% vegetable oil (2,800 kcal ME/kg and 18% CP), with linseed oil substituted for soybean oil at 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%, making up levels of 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0% linseed oil in the diet.

In der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, einem riesigen Gebiet im Herzen Afrikas, gab es vor und nach der Kolonialisierung traditionelle Chefs und Chefferies. Mit der Entwicklung der Städte wird eine neue Art des Regierens mit unpersönlichen Institutionen eingeführt. Daher ist es wichtig zu verstehen, wie sich Häuptlingshäuser, die sich innerhalb der Stadt befinden, an die neue institutionelle städtische Umgebung anpassen. The overall aim of this study is to build a model for assessing customer satisfaction in different diagnostic imaging clinics. In order to achieve the objectives, a questionnaire was applied with two surveys that enabled the relationships between the determinants of satisfaction to be identified and the most important quality attributes to be identified. This study was carried out in a diagnostic imaging clinic in Ponta Grossa - Paraná. The results obtained indicate a strong relationship between customer satisfaction, disconfirmation of expectations and perceived quality and it can be seen that Customer Service (29.5%) is considered the most important factor in terms of the importance of attributes, followed by Radiological Service (25.8%), Administrative Aspects (23.1%) and lastly Environment, furniture and equipment (21.6%). The main contribution of this work is the proposal of a model that can help radiology service managers to improve customer satisfaction, collaborating with the development and growth of the company.

Human papillomaviruses (HPV) are epitheliotropic viruses that infect cutaneous or mucous tissue and are related to the development of lesions which, in the genital tract, range from warts to invasive cervical cancer. It is known that women who are seropositive for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are more affected by HPV infection and are more prone to developing cervical cancer. Given this context, this study aimed to estimate the prevalence of HPV in HIV-positive women followed up at the STD/AIDS reference center in the municipality of Caxias (MA). This is a documentary, descriptive-exploratory and retrospective study with a quantitative approach. Data was collected using medical records and a pre-coded and pre-tested semi-structured form.

This is a multi-dimensional phenomenon, of an economic nature through its effect on the economy, such as contributing to the improvement of economic growth rates, innovation in products and services, and the restructuring of the economic fabric. It is also a social phenomenon through its effect on society, such as the creation of jobs. On top of this, it is an ecological phenomenon, playing a vital role in protecting the environment.

The Democratic Republic of Congo, a vast territory in the heart of Africa, has known the existence of traditional chiefs and chiefdoms before and after colonisation. With the development of cities, a new way of governing was introduced with impersonal institutions. It is therefore important to understand how chieftaincies located within the city adapt to this new institutional urban environment. In addition, in this institutional urban environment, how are the various traditional institutions adapting in interaction with their urban equivalents, and how is communal land tenure adapting in the face of private and state ownership in the capital city, Kinshasa? However, it should be noted that adaptation was not uniform (homogeneous) depending on whether one was in the colonial city, in the planned zone or in the peripheral zone of Kinshasa. In the former colonial zone, traditional institutions disappeared and were replaced by modern urban state institutions; in the planned zone, they lost their authority; and in the periphery, they coexist.

L'objectif global de cette étude est de construire un modèle d'évaluation de la satisfaction des clients dans différentes cliniques d'imagerie diagnostique. Pour atteindre les objectifs, un questionnaire a été appliqué avec deux enquêtes qui ont permis d'identifier les relations entre les déterminants de la satisfaction et d'identifier les attributs de qualité les plus importants. Cette étude a été réalisée dans une clinique d'imagerie diagnostique à Ponta Grossa - Paraná. Les résultats obtenus indiquent une forte relation entre la satisfaction du client, la disconfirmation des attentes et la qualité perçue et on peut constater que le Service Client (29,5%) est considéré comme le facteur le plus important en termes d'importance des attributs, suivi par le Service Radiologique (25,8%), les Aspects Administratifs (23,1%) et enfin l'Environnement, le mobilier et l'équipement (21,6%). La principale contribution de ce travail est la proposition d'un modèle qui peut aider les gestionnaires de services radiologiques à améliorer la satisfaction des clients, en collaborant au développement et à la croissance de l'entreprise.

Les papillomavirus humains (HPV) sont des virus épithéliotropes qui infectent les tissus cutanés ou muqueux et sont liés au développement de lésions qui, dans l'appareil génital, vont des verrues au cancer invasif du col de l'utérus. On sait que les femmes séropositives pour le virus de l'immunodéficience humaine (VIH) sont plus touchées par l'infection à HPV et plus enclines à développer un cancer du col de l'utérus. Dans ce contexte, cette étude visait à estimer la prévalence du HPV chez les femmes séropositives suivies au centre de référence MST/SIDA de la municipalité de Caxias (MA). Il s'agit d'une étude documentaire, descriptive-exploratoire et rétrospective avec une approche quantitative. Les données ont été collectées à l'aide de dossiers médicaux et d'un formulaire semi-structuré pré-codé et pré-testé.

L'administration intelligente est l'administration en ligne avancée qui a été indiquée comme une tendance mondiale émergente dans la fourniture de services publics. En outre, les services mobiles rendent les services publics plus accessibles aux citoyens et offrent au public, aux entreprises et au gouvernement la possibilité d'y accéder à tout moment et en tout lieu, ainsi que la mobilité et la portabilité. L'utilisation des services mobiles du gouvernement intelligent pose un certain nombre de problèmes, notamment la complexité des différentes technologies, la sécurisation de l'accès, la mise en place d'une architecture commune et la réduction des doublons entre les systèmes existants et les nouveaux systèmes dans le domaine de l'application. Afin de relever ces défis, une architecture de système intégrée, innovante et complète est nécessaire pour concevoir le cadre d'un gouvernement intelligent pour les services mobiles. C'est pourquoi cette étude a conçu et proposé un cadre d'architecture d'entreprise (EA) pour les services d'application mobiles afin d'éviter la duplication inutile des déploiements de systèmes et d'intégrer les parties communes du service d'application. L'étude est basée sur une revue de la littérature, une analyse de l'existant et des études de cas de pays développés et en voie de développement.

L'objectif de cette étude était d'évaluer les performances zootechniques, la qualité et le profil en acides gras des ¿ufs de poules pondeuses commerciales nourries avec des régimes contenant 2 % de deux sources de lipides (lin et soja) et une combinaison des deux. La procédure expérimentale a porté sur 194 pondeuses commerciales âgées de 129 semaines, réparties en 5 cycles de 28 jours, au cours desquels les données ont été collectées pour l'étude. La conception statistique était entièrement aléatoire, avec 6 traitements, l'unité expérimentale étant représentée par une parcelle de 8 oiseaux et 4 répétitions par traitement. Les traitements consistaient en un régime témoin (sans huile végétale) et des régimes avec 2 % d'huile végétale (2 800 kcal ME/kg et 18 % CP), l'huile de lin remplaçant l'huile de soja à 0, 25, 50, 75 et 100 %, soit un total de 0,0, 0,5, 1,0, 1,5 et 2,0 % d'huile de lin dans le régime.

Le genre Eucalyptus est de plus en plus utilisé dans l'industrie de transformation du bois, en particulier dans les produits à plus forte valeur ajoutée tels que les meubles et les parquets. Cependant, cette matière première nécessite un séchage lent, ce qui implique une augmentation du coût du processus, proportionnelle à la durée pendant laquelle le bois reste dans le séchoir. La combinaison du séchage naturel avec le séchage conventionnel a été indiquée comme une alternative pour réduire la durée du processus artificiel ; cette hypothèse a été évaluée dans cette étude pour le bois d'Eucalyptus grandis de 40 mm d'épaisseur. La courbe de séchage caractéristique du matériau et le programme de base du séchage conventionnel ont été déterminés en laboratoire. Il a été prouvé que le séchage conventionnel est lent et que le passage du séchage à l'air au séchage artificiel doit se faire lorsque le taux d'humidité du bois est compris entre 35 et 40 %. Un séchage à l'échelle industrielle d'un chargement de bois de 60 m³ a ensuite été réalisé, en combinant le séchage à l'air avec un séchage conventionnel ultérieur.

Por conseguinte, é importante compreender como as chefias localizadas na cidade se adaptam a este novo ambiente urbano institucional. Além disso, neste ambiente urbano institucional, como é que as várias instituições tradicionais se adaptam em interação com as suas equivalentes urbanas, e como é que a posse da terra comunal se adapta face à propriedade privada e estatal na capital, Kinshasa? No entanto, é de notar que a adaptação não foi uniforme (homogénea) consoante se estava na cidade colonial, na zona planeada ou na zona periférica de Kinshasa. Na antiga zona colonial, as instituições tradicionais desapareceram e foram substituídas por instituições urbanas modernas do Estado; na zona planeada, perderam a sua autoridade; e na periferia, coexistem.

O presente estudo foi realizado para identificar e explicar o stress profissional, os tipos de stress profissional, o nível de stress, as causas do stress, a gestão do stress e as estratégias de gestão do stress. Expresa el proceso de creación de algo nuevo y de valor, ya sea una nueva empresa o el desarrollo de una empresa existente, a través de la creatividad, la innovación, la asunción de riesgos y la iniciativa individual, con el fin de crear valor añadido. Se trata de un fenómeno multidimensional, de naturaleza económica por su efecto en la economía, como la contribución a la mejora de las tasas de crecimiento económico, la innovación en productos y servicios y la reestructuración del tejido económico. También es un fenómeno social por su efecto en la sociedad, como la creación de puestos de trabajo. Además, es un fenómeno ecológico, ya que desempeña un papel vital en la protección del medio ambiente.

La República Democrática del Congo, vasto territorio en el corazón de África, ha conocido la existencia de jefes y jefaturas tradicionales antes y después de la colonización. Con el desarrollo de las ciudades, se introdujo una nueva forma de gobernar con instituciones impersonales. Por lo tanto, es importante comprender cómo se adaptan las jefaturas situadas dentro de la ciudad a este nuevo entorno urbano institucional. Además, en este entorno urbano institucional, ¿cómo se adaptan las diversas instituciones tradicionales en interacción con sus equivalentes urbanos, y cómo se adapta la tenencia comunal de la tierra frente a la propiedad privada y estatal en la capital, Kinshasa? Sin embargo, hay que señalar que la adaptación no fue uniforme (homogénea) según se estuviera en la ciudad colonial, en la zona planificada o en la zona periférica de Kinshasa. En la antigua zona colonial, las instituciones tradicionales desaparecieron y fueron sustituidas por instituciones modernas del Estado urbano; en la zona planificada, perdieron su autoridad; y en la periferia, coexisten.

El objetivo general de este estudio es construir un modelo para evaluar la satisfacción del cliente en diferentes clínicas de diagnóstico por imagen. Para alcanzar los objetivos se aplicó un cuestionario con dos encuestas que permitió identificar las relaciones entre los determinantes de la satisfacción e identificar los atributos de calidad más importantes. El estudio se realizó en una clínica de diagnóstico por imagen de Ponta Grossa - Paraná. Los resultados obtenidos indican una fuerte relación entre la satisfacción del cliente, la desconfirmación de expectativas y la calidad percibida y se observa que el Servicio al Cliente (29,5%) es considerado el factor más importante en términos de importancia de los atributos, seguido por el Servicio Radiológico (25,8%), los Aspectos Administrativos (23,1%) y por último el Ambiente, mobiliario y equipos (21,6%). La principal contribución de este trabajo es la proposición de un modelo que puede ayudar a los gestores de servicios radiológicos a mejorar la satisfacción del cliente, colaborando con el desarrollo y crecimiento de la empresa.

Cet ouvrage s'inscrit dans le domaine émergent des services de conseil en ligne. Peu d'études ont été menées dans ce domaine. Il semble que l'opinion largement répandue dans la littérature, selon laquelle la confiance basée sur la communication en face à face est un obstacle majeur à la fourniture en ligne de services de conseil en gestion, décourage les chercheurs d'étudier cette question. Pourtant, la fourniture en ligne de tels conseils professionnels pourrait être une option essentielle pour les petites et moyennes entreprises (PME). Ce livre se concentre sur la nature de la confiance basée sur la communication en face à face à différents stades des projets et a étudié les approches personnalisées et codifiées dans les services de conseil afin de trouver la possibilité de surmonter l'obstacle dans cette étude. Ainsi, les caractéristiques probables des services de conseil en ligne sont dérivées de la théorie et testées dans la pratique par le biais d'entretiens avec 5 consultants et d'une analyse des sites web qui fournissent des services de conseil en ligne. Sur la base des résultats de la recherche, cette thèse soutient que les services de conseil de type codifié et certaines étapes des projets personnalisés peuvent être réalisés via l'Internet. Trois modèles en ligne sont proposés dans le dernier chapitre.

O fenómeno empresarial não é o resultado de hoje, é um fenómeno antigo, moderno e renovado ao mesmo tempo. Exprime o processo de criação de algo novo e de valor, quer se trate de uma nova empresa ou do desenvolvimento de uma empresa já existente, através da criatividade, da inovação, da assunção de riscos e da iniciativa individual, com o objetivo de criar valor acrescentado. Trata-se de um fenómeno multidimensional, de natureza económica pelo seu efeito na economia, como a contribuição para a melhoria das taxas de crescimento económico, a inovação em produtos e serviços e a reestruturação do tecido económico. É também um fenómeno social através do seu efeito na sociedade, como a criação de emprego. Para além disso, é um fenómeno ecológico, desempenhando um papel fundamental na proteção do ambiente.
