Palliative care in Angola is still in the early stages of development, reflected in the lack of preparation of nurses in their technical training to intervene in palliative care.The aim of this study was to assess the perception of nursing students regarding the inclusion of palliative care in their undergraduate curricula, as well as to determine the importance they attach to this training and preparation for caring for patients in palliative care.109 nursing students (55.3% female) from the Instituto Superior de Ciências de Saúde and the Escola Superior Politécnica do Moxico answered a questionnaire on attitudes towards palliative care. The results revealed that the majority of students had not had contact with essential topics related to palliative care throughout their training.The students emphasized the importance of including palliative care in the compulsory curriculum of the nursing course. Based on the perceptions of Angolan nursing students, we conclude that training in palliative care during the course is not adequate to develop the necessary skills in this area.

The aim of this study is to highlight the determinants of investment in Senegal. The data used cover the period from 1972 to 2004, and come from the Senegalese National Accounts database. We applied a theoretical model based on the use of VAR methodology tools such as VECM (causality in the sense of Granger, impulse response functions, forecast variance decomposition, etc.) to measure this aspect of investment determinants. The results of the VECM model highlight the pre-eminence of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the interest rate as determining variables in maintaining investment. The economic policy recommendations are to accentuate government action through a sustained investment profile and an improved business climate.

As recomendações de política económica apontam para a necessidade de intensificar a ação do Estado através de um perfil de investimento sustentado e de uma melhoria do clima empresarial.

Moses Wiepen untersucht die Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung auf die international-privatrechtliche Lokalisierung von Gesellschaften. Im Internationalen Gesellschaftsrecht betrifft dies insbesondere die Frage nach dem anwendbaren Gesellschaftsstatut. Neuere Entwicklungen, wie beispielsweise die Gründung von DAOs (Dezentrale Autonome Organisationen), lassen sich weder mit der Sitz- noch mit der Gründungstheorie bewältigen. Im ersten Hauptteil seiner Arbeit schlägt der Autor vor diesem Hintergrund eine neue unionsrechtliche Kollisionsregel für nichtregistrierte Gesellschaften vor. Im zweiten Hauptteil widmet sich der Autor den gesellschaftsexternen Verhältnissen. Der Untersuchungsschwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf der Frage, ob und unter welchen Voraussetzungen Internetpräsenzen "Niederlassungen" im Sinne des europäischen und nationalen Rechts der Internationalen Zuständigkeit darstellen.

Mémoire de fin d'études de l¿année 2023 dans le domaine Economie politique - Economie de l'environnement, , langue: Français, résumé: L'objectif de l¿article est de faire une analyse financière comparative de la production du coton biologique et du coton conventionnel ainsi que les déterminants de leur rentabilité. L¿étude a été conduite dans les communes de Kandi appartenant au pôle de développement agricole deux. Dans la communes, les données ont été collectées, dans des villages produisant les deux types de coton, sur un échantillon aléatoire stratifié de 82 producteurs (54 producteurs conventionnels et 28 biologiques). Il ressort des résultats obtenus que le coton biologique et le coton conventionnel sont rentables dans la commune de Kandi. Le coton biologique a présenté les meilleures performances financières. D¿une manière générale les principaux facteurs déterminant la rentabilité du coton sont de trois ordres : institutionnel (intensité de l¿encadrement, montant du crédit), socio démographique et économique (nombre d¿actifs agricoles et niveau d¿instruction) et technique (pratique de la jachère et quantité de main d¿oeuvre familiale allouée aux traitements phytosanitaires). La plupart des économies du monde organise leurs secteurs d¿activité pour une amélioration de la qualité et une augmentation de la production des biens et services. Le secteur du coton joue un rôle prépondérant dans la croissance des économies et l¿amélioration des niveaux de vie et du pouvoir d¿achat des populations agricoles. Dans les années récentes, la Chine semble être la première productrice du coton dans le monde suivi de l¿Inde. En matière de statistique de production mondiale, le continent Africain occupe la troisième place mondiale avec en occurrence le Burkina, la Cote d¿ivoire, le Mali, le Bénin, comme peloton de tête en Afrique. Le coton africain affiche une particularité dans sa qualité et n¿occupe que 10% de la production mondiale.Au Bénin, le secteur agricole emploie environ 70% de la population active et contribue pour près de 36% du PIB (Produit Intérieur Brut). Le coton constitue la principale culture de rente qui représente 40% des entrées de devises 13% du PIB avec une production d'environ 678000 tonnes en 2918/2019 ; 714000 tonnes en 2019/2020 et 728000 tonnes en 2020/2021. Margé les énormes efforts consentis par le Gouvernement et ses partenaires pour son développement, la filière coton reste confrontée à plusieurs difficultés depuis quelques années.
