Hailey Holmes is already struggling to balance her demanding work schedule with some semblance of a family life when disaster strikes: her mentor resigns to work for a competing home builder and the other senior managers follow him. With a skeleton crew and no clear leadership, Hailey steps in to keep the marketing department operational.
Proving herself capable of managing the workload and the team, Hailey is promoted to director of marketing -- but her momentum grinds to a halt when the CEO brings on Natalie Kumar, a woman whose incompetence is rivaled only by her ambition.
