Caring Beauty

No one else at the Conservatory is able to play the piano like our narrator can. She uses a method that she picked up from her parents, who are also accomplished musicians and left China after the Cultural Revolution. However, she gives up her career in favor of a job at a high-end beauty and wellness boutique in New York City when an accident renders her parents incapacitated.
