Catalogue of the Type Fossils in the Woodwardian Museum, Cambridge

First published in 1891, this catalogue by Henry Woods (1868-1962) contains the specific names, classes and orders of 558 fossils in the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences considered 'type specimens' for their species. It is a valuable record of the museum's most important holdings in the late nineteenth century.
