Can a shelter dog in desperate need of a loving home be the key to a family in need? Emily, a prospective vet school student, falls in love with a shelter dog named Chance. With the dog pulling at her heartstrings and her uncle pushing the thought, Emily wants to bring Chance home. When her father says no, Emily's heart is broken. More stress is then added to the already list of family issues.Will chance get a forever home that he has been looking for?
