Life for the main character, Beverly, has changed far more than she thought possible. Beverly wants a man of moral character, but to have such a man, she learns that she too must possess equal qualities. On her path to becoming the woman she's always wanted to be, she learns that the perfection she's always tried to perform isn't bringing the happiness she thought it would.
