Chemical Pollution

The health effect of chemical pollution may appear immediately following exposure or after some time (a week or even months after the exposure occurred or started). The length of time depends on the type of pollutant and on the amount to which is exposed. Thus, never assume that all is ok if ill health effect appears immediately.
