Circles

Karen Ezekiel is a political savant whose life turns to chaos after catching the eye of a renowned public figure. The Honorable Judge Joseph Okaro is a lead candidate running for the Nigerian Senate. He coerces Karen into an illicit love affair. Barrister Joy Okaro is Joseph's wife. She pays Karen to flee the country upon discovering that she is with child. The newborn, however, must be left behind. Joseph is oblivious to their arrangement. He accuses Karen of child abandonment. She is prevented from seeing the boy over the next six years. Karen is left emotionally distraught in America. Cyclothymia is the diagnosis. The past must be revisited in order to heal old wounds.
