When Claudia Mellens finds herself pregnant, homeless, and cheated on, she doesn't know where to go or who to turn to. So she calls her sister, Faith, who happily lends a hand. From there Claudia begins to build a new life for her and the little person on the way. She knows she'll need a job, but most places aren't hiring, until she applies at the Lakeshore Inn.

Adrian Walker has been running away from his past for four years when he lands as head chef at the Lakeshore Inn. He isn't planning on being as attracted to Claudia as he is or feel as protective of her as he does.
