Emma Griggs is an uncertain 17-year-old who is faced with ordinary high school challenges and a strained home life. When her teacher, Mrs. Lee, persists in challenging her "potential" through a senior year assignment, Emma is annoyed, considering it another mundane task that must be completed in order to satisfy her educational requirements.
