Kovie Laveau is waging a fanatic pursuit for revenge. Once Ansel Raison dies, Kovie with the help of some unsavory characters breaks into his estate, hoping she will find evidence to back her theory that the family is linked to organized crime. But there's a snag: Fabrice, the now Mayor of New Orleans, just happens to be staying in the house that night.

In the end, Kovie gets her revenge, but not in the way she or anyone else expects.
