Brought together by a mystery that the imperial Albadine people call the Forbidden, the characters of Dawning Wonder are searchers and questioners: Niels and Aurora, young balloonists planning to fly over the enigmatic Forbidden, a forest from which no tempted human has returned; Leina and Kyra, one born into wealth, the other into debt, both needing answers from a mythological being; Kruso and Edeline, heartbroken soldiers sent to hunt down a trespassing creature; and Torest, a creature on the run, hearing the call of home.The Four Skies series is part fantasy, party mystery, part love letter to Greek mythology, and wholly an adventurous vision of four distinctly different worlds.
