James' detailed and scholarly descriptive catalogues of manuscripts in the libraries of eight Cambridge colleges (Clare, Trinity Hall, Magdalene, King's, Queens', St Catharine's, Christ's and Sidney Sussex) are bound together in this volume. They have not been superseded and are much sought after by librarians and researchers.
